MONASH AUSTRALIA

Studying in Australia puts our students at the centre of one of the world’s most advanced economies and in one of the most culturally diverse and desirable cities on earth – Melbourne. Repeatedly named the world’s most liveable city, Melbourne has an enviable reputation for welcoming international students and offering a true home-away-from-home experience. MONASH MALAYSIA

Monash Malaysia offers one of the best higher education programs in Malaysia and the Asia region, and is a single-campus university in the township of Sunway. Our Malaysian campus is home to nearly 7000 students from across the Asia-Pacific. Students studying at this campus are part of a vibrant community, with the opportunity to experience the energy, excitement and cultural diversity of living and studying in the world’s fastest-growing economic region.

Our Monash Malaysia students earn the same degree as their Australian counterparts, but in a totally different part of the world and with case studies that are relevant to their region. They also have the chance to take up internship opportunities with our strong industry network throughout the region.

NOT READY FOR MONASH UNIVERSITY?

We believe in nurturing our students to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed at Monash. This means offering a range of options to suit their needs and abilities, including a pathway to Monash University via our network of Monash College campuses.

When our students join one of our Monash College partner campuses they join the extended Monash community. This means they’ll be taught by the best teachers in purpose-built facilities designed to maximise the learning experience. We have colleges all over the Asia-Pacific region – Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and China. Each offers a variety of programs to suit the needs of our students.

THIS INCLUDES:

�� English programs to build language skills so they can achieve at the academic level and build confidence and cultural understanding.

�� A Foundation Year designed to prepare them for academic study, and is another pathway into Monash University.

�� The diploma that gives them extra support during their studies, particularly in managing the Australian way of learning and, in most cases, allows them to transfer straight into the second year of selected courses at Monash.

The advantage of our Monash College network is that a student can start their Monash University journey close to home – something that can be comforting for both the student and their parents. As their skills and confidence develop, and as long as they meet the entry requirements, they can choose to continue their studies at Monash University Malaysia or in Australia.

Or even to start university life in Malaysia and then complete their studies at Monash Australia.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT MONASH COLLEGE AUSTRALIA?

Where a student chooses to study with Monash College really comes down to the personal circumstances of the student. The quality of our Monash College programs is the same across our entire college network. Partners in-country deliver exactly the same curriculum and to the same standard as within Australia. We teach the Australian way at all our locations, but our teaching is informed by the way a student has been taught in their home country, to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed at Monash University. So, the primary difference resulting from starting the Monash journey at Monash College Australia is the English language immersion that comes from studying in an English-language- speaking country.
