Physical Attributes of Personality External Attributes First impressions are registered when people meet. The external attributes includes the following: a. Physical health and hygiene b. Grooming c. Accessories d. Make up e. Posture f. Use of color combination Physical health and hygiene Physical hygiene is the maintence of personal cleanliness and sanitation of the body. a. Brain- provides the brain with good food, enough sleep, fresh air, exercise, relaxation, and positive outlook. Foods for the brain are: 1. Iron. Helps deliver oxygen into the bloodstream 2. Vit. C deficiency causes mental sluggishness 3. Vit B 12 deficiency result in impairment of memory 4. Vit B2 deficiency result in depression, emotional stability, and confusion. 5. B complex vitamin is a key to memory function. 6. Protein keeps the brain alert Exercise for the mind are: 1. Planning and organizing ideas 2. Memorizing lines in poetry 3. Learning new languages 4. Writing about certain subjects a few minutes a day 5. Reading to sharpen mental skills 6. Developing skills in problem solving through puzzles, scrabble, and computer games. b. Exercise c. associated with blood, rosy cheeks, or stop traffic sign; also signifies anger and provokes fear. Orange helps the person to be assertive. Green color of nature, promotes the feeling of well-being. It encourages stability. Green implies

happy and restful associations and natural abundance. Black depresses because of its association with death Blue is soothing. It connotes royalty and regalness. Neutral colors like Beige and gray are for people who feel insecure. Brighter color and very light shades are for girls who are less confident.
