Islam has grown from 230 million to 1.9 billion Muslims in the last 100 years and studies show that by 2050 Islam will most likely bypass global Christianity as the largest global religion. Muslims are by far the largest unreached peoples on earth who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Almost 40 percent of all the unreached people of the world are Muslims. 86 percent of Muslims globally do not personally know a Christian, and every 24 hours 37,000 Muslims die without the gospel of Jesus Christ.

However, the harvest is plentiful! Missiologists have confirmed that in the last 20 years there have been at least 94 unique large movements of Muslims coming to Christ! In other words more Muslims have come to Christ in the last two decades than in all history combined! But the laborers are few—there is only 1 missionary for every 420,000 Muslims! The answer to the challenge of global Islam is a discipled and trained church that loves Jesus Christ. We need a strategic, Holy Spirit-led plan to train and equip all churches to labor to finish the great commission among Muslims.

TRAINING THE GLOBAL CHURCH

We have identified and video recorded some of the best

global teachers on Christian missions to Muslims and

Islamic studies.

We are in the process of overdubbing the courses into

80 languages.

We are launching these courses globally in multiple ways. - Live training conferences - Church-based training initiatives - Various online training platforms - Social media engagement - Phone apps - Satellite broadcast

We use the training to launch large-scale national evangelistic and discipleship initiatives among Muslims.

We have formed training partnerships with some of the

largest denominations and church networks in various

countries in Asia, Africa, and South America.

Our main strategy is to run leadership training conferences with the largest denominations and church networks, country by country, to launch church-based training and evangelism initiatives, providing them with the MMWU courses to use freely in their networks.

Mission Muslim World University Online (mmwu.org) offers the MMWU courses plus graduate-level assignments making this the most robust training curriculum available on Christian Missions to Muslims and Islamic Studies. We are in the process of creating pathways for our online students to get an accredited MA degree.

All the MMWU courses are available totally free on The World Apologetics Discipleship Institute on-demand training platform. Thewadi.org platform is a user-friendly “Netflix’” like environment and contains training in over ten languages.

All the MMWU courses are available to stream for free inside the WISE Global Phone Application. WISE is a ministry management system that helps church networks launch and track the progress of a prayer, training and evangelism initiative.

“My name is Muhammad. I am an ex-imam Muslim from Iraq. Now I am a missionary to Muslims. My friend from Egypt sent me the MMWU videos to see what I thought since I was a former imam. When I watched Dr. Joshua Lingel teach the oldest Islamic history, I was so happy! It is the truth! It is perfect! It explains it better than I was ever able to. Now I send people to train through these video courses!”- Muhammad (former imam from Iraq)

COURSE DESCRIPTION "Radical" means to go back to the root. In Islam this means to go back to the Seventh Century violence of Muhammad, Allah, and the early Muslim conquests. In Christianity, however, it means to be devoted followers of Jesus, Paul, and the first century church’s great commission. Radical Evangelism to Muslims means to love Muslims enough to be a faithful witness to the gospel to them in our modern day. Christian apologist Jay Smith communicates the reality of resurgent Islam and its impact on the Church's witness to the Muslim world. This course attempts to equip Christians with tools to answer the most pressing questions of our day.

As a result of these rejections we see the spiritual strongholds of Islam come into light. Prof. Durie then provides a comprehensive look at breaking the strongholds of the Shahada and Dhimmitude. The course concludes with powerful prayers of repentance to walk Muslim converts through to renounce and break free from the spiritual oppression of Islam.

COURSE DESCRIPTION When the Old Testament is read quickly, God can be seen as wrathful, vengeful, and against humanity. But when the story is studied more carefully, looking at man’s harmful actions to himself and our rebellion against God and our own best interest, His ways make more sense. The continuous story of the Old Testament is contained in eleven books. When these books are studied in succession, the grace of God pours forth as the prevailing theme. Dr. Talley argues that rather than finding a wrathful God who arbitrarily deals out judgement, what we find is the core message of a God who loves, pursues, and gives grace to sinful humanity. This story is the epic battle which leads ultimately to the climax of God’s love, the revealing of the Messiah, who is God Himself—Jesus. This is a helpful course for Christians from a Muslim background to understand the Biblical narrative of grace.

COURSE DESCRIPTION The Bible has been assaulted like never before in the past century both by secular and Islamic scholars. In this course Dr. James White shows why and how we can be absolutely certain that the Bible is the word of God. James White articulately refutes the common accusations set against biblical inerrancy, historical textual transmission, canonicity, the Trinity, and the so-called “other gospels”.

Dr. White also critiques the Islamic challenge to the Bible and its theology to see if the claims in and about the Qur’an can handle the same scrutiny the Bible can take. He shows unequivocally that Islam crumbles under the same historical and theological scrutiny.

COURSE DESCRIPTION The unfolding conflict between Islam and the West is not just a clash of cultures—it is a head-to-head confrontation between a religion intent on world dominance and a culture confused and unsettled by rising hatred and violence. In this revealing course Wagner, an experienced Christian missionary to the Muslim world, examines the rapid worldwide growth of Islam and credits it to a well-financed missions strategy. This “loose strategy” is advanced through three tactical methods:  jihad  (holy

war), Da’wah (missions), and mosques (presence). His conclusions about Islam’s growth, which is neither spontaneous nor accidental, should spur Christians on to become much more

active in living out their faith and proclaiming the truth found in Jesus Christ.

His explanation of the relationship between Christian end-time prophecy and Islamic expectations of world domination has shocked readers and revolutionized eschatological expectations. He also builds a case for an Islamic Antichrist systematically from Biblical exegesis and proves the long awaited system of the Antichrist is even now before us and knocking at our door. Through a highly-scholarly, theologically-grounded, yet simple presentation, Richardson thoroughly corrects the objections of critics, establishing the Biblical case for an Islamic Antichrist.

COURSE DESCRIPTION Anyone who has studied Islam from a textbook will find the actual beliefs and practices of Muslims in Africa vary from orthodox Islam. In this presentation Prof. Tony Weedor explains these trends of Folk Islam, Sufi Islam, and how pre-Islamic roots affected how Islam grew and changed in Africa.  This will help the missionary better understand how to effectively evangelize Muslims with African heritage.

PROFESSOR Dr. Anthony Weedor was born in the West African state of Liberia, a small country founded by freed slaves from America in July of 1847. He became a Christian in the early 80s through the ministries of Serving In Mission (SIM). He worked in Bomi Hills as an evangelist and church planter. He graduated from the African Bible College with a BA in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in Radio Broadcasting. In August of 1988 he was appointed Director of Muslim Ministries for West Africa with

SIM. In 1989 when the Liberian civil war broke out, he and his family walked for one year to La Cote d’Voire to escape. They lived in Cote d’Ivoire for three and a half years in a refugee camp.   His family moved to the states in 1993 so he could study at the Denver Theological Seminary. He earned a master of divinity degree with emphasis in philosophy. After graduation, his family moved to Ethiopia as missionaries with SIM. After spending more than four years ministering among pastors and teaching at the Evangelical Theological College.

He then returned to Denver Seminary as an Adjunct Professor in the Philosophy department in 2006. He continued work with SIM as research director on Islam.
