FriendsAdam Mickiewicz was born in 1798 in Zaosie or Nowogródek. He died in1855 in Istambul. Romantic poet. He was one of Poland's Three Bards, along with Zygmunt Krasiński and Juliusz Słowacki. He's an author of ballads, poetics novels, drama „Dziady” and national epopeia ‘Pan Tadeusz” which is the last, big epos in our literature.

Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was born in 1547 in Spain and died in 1616 in Madrid. His magnum opus, Don Quixote, often considered the first modern novel, is a classics of Western literature and is regularly regarded among the best novels ever written. His work is considered among the most important in the history of literature. His influence on the Spanish language has been so great that Spanish is often called la lengua de Cervantes (The language of Cervantes). He has been dubbed el Príncipe de los Ingenios - the Prince of Wits. In 1585, Cervantes published a pastoral novel, La Galatea. Because of financial problems, Cervantes worked as a purveyor for the Spanish Armada, and later as a tax collector. Carlos Fuentes noted that, "Cervantes leaves open the pages of a book where the reader knows himself to be written."

The Three MusketeersAlexandre Dumas, was born in 1802 and died in 1870. He was a French writer, best known for his numerous historical novels of high adventure which have made him one of the most widely read French authors in the world. Many of his novels, including The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers, Twenty Years After, and The Vicomte de Bragelonne were filmed He also wrote plays and magazine articles and was a prolific correspondent.
