To reef…
I had to look for this word in a dictionary. This word
is related to sailing on a boat, and specially used in
storms and tempests… It means trying to reduce
the sails so that the boat can stop capsizing and be
stabilized.
During the last months, we were in this boat. The
environment was really rough in Egypt on many
fields, from political to social, human rights or
economical…
Yes the boat was rocking hard!
And we had to reef.
It is always a very hard decision to take in a
company. In a previous issue, we were announcing
that we were going to have a new US campaign.
This project was canceled because of the situation
in Egypt.
Hence, we decided not to move immediately to
Maadi Contact Center Park, and we have been
compelled not to prolong the contract of some of
our agents at Mobinil, at the demand of our client,
without being able, as last year, to propose them to
work at NAOS premises.
Still, we are all in the same boat and we are fighting
to reach less troubled waters in order to get back to
sunshine and development to propose jobs for
youngsters in Egypt.

Some elements let us think that we are back on right track:
• We have developed recently our activity with OSN. We
signed a contract to be OSN distributor. Contrarily to other
OSN distributors, we are only selling by phone. To maintain
quality till the final customer, we have also recruited a team
of technicians to install OSN receivers in Cairo.
• We also begin to work for a new client, Linkdotnet,
internet provider in Egypt.

OSN PROJECT – As part of NAOS Marketing’s plan to diversify activities, a strongly
motivated team is now dedicated to develop the partnership with OSN.

NAOS Marketing started a pilot phase with OSN in 2009. Since July of this year, the partnership between our 2 companies has been strengthened! NAOS Marketing became an official OSN dealer in Egypt and is now involved from selling and distributing OSN Packages until the installation of devices in our customers’ houses.

So far, it is working well: in only one month of full activity,
NAOS Marketing already became the first OSN authorized
distributor in Egypt! Inji Samer, OSN Egypt Marketing Director,
and Mohammed Roshdy, OSN Account Manager, came in our
office (with a delicious cake!) to thank NAOS Marketing team
for their dedication and for having achieved 120% of
September 2013 objectives! BRAVO!!
