In conventional torque wrenches

having a projecting ratchet head (left),the pivot point lies outside of the out-put square drive. This gives rise to adouble lever (L+L1). Disadvantage: The force of the hand (P)must be applied exactly in the middleof the handgrip. Any other pressurepoint will lead to shifts in value.

By contrast, in the case of the DREMOMETER, the pivot point is situa-ted exactly at the centre of the squaredrive. This gives rise to a single lever (L).Advantage: The force of the hand (P)can be applied to any arbitrary point ofthe wrench. Accuracy is not impaired.

The integrated lever chain reduces the strain on the measuring mechanicsto a minimum which means that the measuring mechanics canthus be constructed with much greater sensitivity.Advantage: High accuracy and a long life cycle.

All DREMOMETER models include a test certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789. Advantage: Guaranteed accuracy +/-3 % of the adjusted scalevalue.
