Everyone is anx- ious to shake the winter rust off their game and get a good start to the sea- son’s competition. So when I got a call from club president, Mike Con- rad, two days before the event and he says that we were not on the Spooky Brook tee sheet for Satur- day, I was speechless. But Mike was cool. He said we could get with the Spooky Brook manager, who would not be available until Friday, and try to get them to correct their er- ror. Or we could try to get another venue for the event. Mike said he was going to make some calls and see what he could do about securing another venue. I was thinking, tee times for 27 golfers at a premium course on a Saturday on 2 days notice.
