you want to, and always stay relaxed. Because despite the tough and

sporty look inside, featuring high-quality design elements made from

stainless steel, chrome and aluminium, this car also offers plenty of

amenities – such as the optional ergoComfort seats with massage and

ventilation functions.

04 Whether it’s for business or leisure, if you spend a lot of time on the road, your Travel Assist driver as-sistance system takes a great deal of the strain during your trip. On motorways and well-developed country roads in particular, Travel Assist can maintain your lane and speed, while also taking into account the distance to the traffic ahead. In combination with the DSG dual clutch gearbox, you can even tackle con-gested roads and stop-and-start traffic with little stress.¹⁾, ²⁾ OE

05 Be prepared in an emergency, with the Emergency Assist assistance system, which takes partial control of your vehicle in a medical emergency. It is activated when it registers no activity on the part of the driver. If the driver still fails to respond after the system has emitted a warning, it can attempt to revive the driver while also alerting other passengers and road users. If the driver does not take control, the system can keep the vehicle in lane and brake it until it comes to a stop.¹⁾ OE

06 ACC Adaptive Cruise Control with predictive cruise control can help you to maintain a set maximum speed³⁾ and distance from the vehicle in front. The predictive cruise control system enhances these func-tions with speed assistance and cornering assistance. The system can note official road speed limits, and stop you from exceeding them. The system also uses journey data from the navigation to adapt the vehicle speed when turning; this increases your driving com-fort while lowering fuel consumption.¹⁾ OE

03 With the head-up display, you have all the key information directly in your line of sight: speed, messages from the driver assistance systems, and navigation information for example. The data is projected onto a premium optical surface in front of the windscreen, so you have all the important facts right before your eyes, and you don’t need to look away from the road. The information is easy to read even when backlit. If you do not need the head-up display for a while, it can be retracted into the dash panel. OE

The system also features traffic sign recognition and App Connect Wireless (for Apple CarPlay™). Eight speakers ensure an optimum sound experi-ence – and not just when listening to digital radio via DAB+. OE

01 The surfboard carrier will certainly keep your surfboard securely in place when travelling: the rubber support, paired with a special rubber protector for the metal clamps on the tensioning straps, make it a breeze to transport surfboards with two-piece masts to your destination. OE

02 The light and sturdy cross bars for the Passat Alltrack serve as the basis for all roof systems. Available with a capacity of 340 or 460 litres, the roof box features an aerodynamic design, secure 3-point central locking system and a simple quick-release fastening system. Thanks to the DuoLift system, the box can be opened from either side. OE

03 Use the bicycle carrier, which is city crash plus tested, to transport your bicycle safely and securely, upright on the roof. The innovative torque limiter rotary knob ensures convenient attachment of your bike frame, while the frame holder and bike rail automatically hold your bike in the right position. OE

04 Transport your bikes more conveniently and securely with our Premium bicycle carrier. It carries two bikes or electric bikes, and its innovative fastening system makes it extremely easy to use: unhinging the carrier bracket automatically fixes the bicycle carrier onto the ball head and fastens it in place with ease. The removable spacers with anti-theft protection make it extremely user-friendly. The foot pedal allows the carrier to be folded down extra wide thanks to its large fold-down angle (90°). This means you can still access the luggage compartment with ease – even

in vehicles with a large boot lid. Do you always want to keep your bicycle carrier with you, or safely stow it away when you reach your holiday destination? With the Premium carrier, you can. In a matter of moments you can store it in the spare wheel well of your Volkswagen, simply by removing all the fixed parts from the spare wheel well and conveniently placing the carrier there. A ride-on rail for easier loading is also available as an optional extra. OE

05 Whether you want to tow a boat or caravan, or you need additional storage space, you will need the right equipment. The towing bracket is available in a fixed or detachable version. A 13-pin electrical installation kit is included in the scope of delivery to guarantee the electrical supply and as such, safe usage. OE

The low-maintenance, UV- and car-wash-resistant wind deflectors are manufactured from high-quality, recy-clable acrylic glass, and feature a plug-in assembly system that makes them easy to install. 07 The high-cut storage compartment liner¹⁾ with Passat lettering is robust and protects the luggage compartment against any soiling. Its smooth plastic surface and wide grooves make it easy to clean. Stretch straps in the back corners and a hook attached to the rear wall provide a number of ways to secure your luggage. The partition grid¹⁾ separates the luggage compartment from the passenger compartment.

It can be used in conjunction with the luggage com-partment cover. OE

10 The black Premium textile floor mats fit perfectly and are made from hard-wearing, thickly woven velour. The front mats also feature the Passat logo. Mounting points in the floor, combined with a special coating, ensure the mats sit perfectly in place. OE

11 Our child seats are available for all ages. They are very comfortable and easy to handle, as all covers are easy to remove and washable at 30°C. The non-slip seat cover features handy net pockets and protects your seats from dirt, as well as wear and tear. OE

12 – 15 Practical, comfortable and flexible: the inno-vative, modular travel and comfort system is a true all-rounder and helps maintain a tidy and ordered vehicle interior. In addition, important objects are within easy reach or easily operated by the passen-gers in the rear seats. The system consists of a base module which is fixed between the front seat head-rest bars, an action camera mount and various addi-tional modules available separately. These include, for example, a portable clothes hanger²⁾, robust bag hook²⁾, swivelling tablet holders for models from var-ious manufacturers, and an adjustable folding table with cup holder³⁾. This system makes taking a break from driving more enjoyable and comfortable than ever. One holder, so many options: all modules can be mounted onto the base module and interchanged as required. OE
