PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Debra Wilson
Hope you all enjoyed the long overdue bit of rain as much as I did! Maybe we will be lucky enough to have
rain for Thanksgiving.
During our recent board meeting we had quite a discussion about lunch reservations. In recent months we have
had shortages due to unplanned guests. On Saturday evening we call Wild River with the number of RSVP’s
we’ve received for each menu option. We have tried to meet everyone’s needs but we have decided we need
to be a bit stricter in our policy. As you know our meeting begins at 11:00, so we hope everyone is checked in.
If you arrive having forgotten to make a reservation we can offer a beverage, or salad, and meeting but will be
unable to add a meal. We will also begin enforcing the no-show policy the club has always had. If you make a
reservation and do not come you will be billed, except in emergency situation.
Lunch reservations are due 4pm the Saturday before the meeting. IF YOU DON’T RECEIVE A LUNCH
RESERVATION EMAIL, PLEASE CALL TRISH BELL IMMEDIATELY 541-218-6109!
Next, are you signed up for our annual Christmas Party December 18th! This is held at the Grants Pass Golf Club,
the food is always amazing and the live band makes for a chance to be out on the dance floor!
See more info here in our newsletter.
Happy Holidays to everyone!
VICE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Tom Wilson
We have a great speaker at our November meeting. Nick Smith from Greenleaf Industries will be
coming to talk to us about their program.
We will be celebrating the holidays in December so no general meeting the end of the month but, I hope
you all plan to attend the annual WWN Christmas Party on 12/18! Mona Hartman and Mary McGar have
been working hard on this festive event. Be sure and look for the sign up sheet.
At the January general meeting we will have Mark Fisher talk to us about reflexology! What is that you
ask? You’ll find out in January.
Merry Christmas!

a particular activity, make out a check if there is a charge for attending; if you must pay with cash, please give it directly to the person in charge.
Checks should be made out to WWN with an indication on the bottom as to the activity involved.
Once you have committed to attend an activity, the chairperson is counting on your attendance. If for any reason you are unable to continue with this
commitment, please contact the chairman so they can make necessary adjustments. Plans are made for a certain number of people. Please do the polite
thing and don’t drop out at the last minute without advising the chairperson.
REMINDER: wear your badge to all activities and meetings

‘Get to Know…’ This article interviews both long time and newer members. Some members you may not see regularly at meetings or events and it’s nice
to put a face to a name and learn something about them. The questions are the same month to month; I hope if I call on you to be fea-
tured that you might participate.
