EASY DISTRIBUTION OF METEOROLOGICAL INFORMATION

Various integrated tools in Baron Lynx help forecasters reach stakeholders and the general public

more efficiently. Organizations’ websites can be automatically and continuously populated with the

latest radar imagery, current conditions and forecasts from Baron Lynx, with no intervention

required on the part of the user.

Social media distribution helps organizations share forecasts and other critical weather intelligence

with the general public, directly from the display. Using a consumer-grade webcam, users can also

issue video analysis and forecasts to complement map and data views, and are easily distributed to

the internet.

The system can also be used for graphical weather presentation, including broadcast

television applications.

A unique and powerful quad-panel feature provides comprehensive situational awareness, allowing

the meteorologist to survey weather conditions by viewing multiple data products simultaneously.

Users can also receive a ground-truth view of current conditions throughout their regions of

responsibility with live IP cameras from anywhere in the world.

CRITICAL WEATHER INTELLIGENCE IN A POWERFUL DISPLAY

In addition to serving as the display hub of your network, Baron Lynx is an accurate and flexible

analysis tool for radar and other meteorological data. Precision pathcasting enables the user to

easily determine storms’ properties, along with estimated times of arrival in local communities.

Additionally, the system displays a host of data products, from radar data and satellite imagery to

forecast models, sensor reports, and value-added radar products produced by your meteorological

network. Specialized data for convective weather, flooding, winter weather, tropical environments

and more are all available for the Baron Lynx system. Data inputs may consist of either new

components, such as Baron Gen3 radar or legacy systems, with reliable data delivery supplied

through an internet connection.

CUSTOMIZABLE AND EASY TO USE

Designed for simplified user operation, Baron Lynx is delivered in your choice of language,

enabling faster familiarity with the system, and a greatly reduced learning curve.

Included tools allow the user to define preset sequences, allowing desired map views and data

products to be displayed in a recurring loop. All data is automatically updated, so once a sequence

is created, it will continue providing the latest information without requiring intervention.

The system’s scalability means that it can be deployed across your organization in as small or

large-scale a configuration as your needs require. Display stations can be provided for all

operational forecasters, for example, delivering the same consistent and accurate information

throughout your network to all authorized users.

WEB DISPLAY SOLUTIONS

Critical weather intelligence from Baron is also available in the Baron Threat Net browser display.

This web-based solution allows weather data inputs from the user’s network to be ingested and

viewed on any web browser. A data API solution is also available for users choosing to integrate

weather data into their existing applications and services.

Either option allows personnel to easily access and interact with weather data in the field, and on

any device.
