Caleb is a man who is described three times in this passage as one who served the Lord wholeheartedly. Caleb was a man who trusted in the faithfulness of God that God would honour his promises and keep his word. This meant Caleb had no need to fear opposition, and it enabled him to stand up and be courageous and serve the Lord. We can trust this same God who, through Christ, promises us an eternal heritance in his heavenly kingdom. Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38 – 39)
