Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Matthew 17:13 If Hell is no big deal, Heaven is no big gain! Hell: Greek word “Gehenna” NO MORE: beauty, laughter, peace, friendship, joy, hope, second chances 1. Hell exists for God to deal rightly with Satan. devil, destroyer, deceiver, dragon, dark angel, adversary, tempter, enemy, wicked one, thief, father of lies, prince of darkness, angel of the abyss We need God’s wrath alongside His love. 2. Hell exists for God to deal righteously with unbelievers. Which kind of God do we want? Love, mercy, forgiveness or justice, righteousness, power? It is impossible for God to be holy without being just. What we believe about eternity impacts how we live today. God had a plan. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
