Make the most of your donation…Talk to your company about its Matching Gift Program Matching gift programs are a tremendous way to maximize your generosity. Many companies sponsor matching gift programs to encourage employees to support charitable organizations. Most programs will match your gift dollar for dollar, and some will match double or triple your original gift amount. Speak with a representative at your employer’s human resources department and see if religious organizations are eligible to receive matching gift funds. If your gift is eligible, simply fill out a matching gift form from your employer, and send it along with your gift to the Cardinal’s Appeal Office.
Organizations that have matched gifts to the Cardinal’s Appeal in the past 3 years include:
* If your company is not listed, please check with your employer about their matching gift program.
A Prayer for Fathers
God our Father, We give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old.
We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; May they find courage and
perseverance to balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice.
We pray for our own Fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; May they
know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow.
We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us
with fatherly love and advice.
We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us
with their love. Amen
