Earlier we were cutting the clippings from the newspapers and pasting on a sheet and filling in the subject-wise folders. Now we have digitized the service in 2011 and use a software developed by NIC “e News”. Electronic version of all the newspapers is used to prepare the clippings on various topics. These clippings are available to the Officers/Branches of the Secretariat on Intranet and can be accessed through classification number, subject and keywords.
