Goals of the program
• To give to users the maximum of possibilities and functionalities with Scilab and Xcos.
• To offer complementary modules selected by their quality, fiability and ease of implementation and use.
• To have the most complete tools in mathematics computation and simulation worlds
• To allow external people to develop modules in adequation with their needs.

How to download and use PEM
• 2 possibilities :
– Via an embedded client in Scilab, named ATOMS. This client gives to users the opportunity to easily install and uninstall modules.
– Via the website : http://atoms.scilab.org.
• The user can explore the complete list of External Modules • The user can post some questions about module use or
bugs
Services and benefits for developers
• Deposit of the code on an official repository via the dedicated website.
• Via this Website : – Managing of the versioning of the module – Access to download statistics – Possibility to answer to user’s questions.
• 10 hours of free support by the Scilab Consortium R&D team.
Who have already joined the program
• We have 4 types of partners :
– Companies: CNES
– Colleges and universities: UTC, Luxembourg University
– Academics: LIAMA, INRIA
– Private contributors: Grocer
• Today, 7 PEM, only for Scilab.
