WELCOME SUNDAY
This Sunday we warmly welcome the Das family to our faith community. Norman, Jessica and their two young children have recently arrived from Sri Lanka. The Kundevski family are also joining us today. They are presenting their children Cato & Dakota who will be Baptised at Holy Rosary on 7 May. We also congratulate all of our RCIA participants who were welcomed into our faith community at Easter. Hung Fat Lam, Shafei Zeng, Billy Ka Lok Lam, Sit Hui Wong, Chor Yin Law, Wesley Wong, Celina Cheong Dos Anjos, Janice Cheong Dos Anjos, Gwenaelle Anahite Dorenlot and Thomas Chukwuma Chime will be joining us for Mass today and staying for morning tea.
SACRAMENT PRESENTATION This weekend the school and the parish present the candidates and their families for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist. Over the coming weeks all these children will take part in the preparation programs for their sacraments, attending classes, Faith & Life Evenings and Retreat Days. The day of their sacrament will be a great celebration of the presence of Jesus in their lives through the Body and Blood and the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit . PRAYER to be said by Parish Community Dear Children, We the faith community of St. Brendan’s Parish invite you to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and first Eucharist. As you were welcomed into the faith community at your Baptism, we pray that God, who has begun this good work in you, will bring you to an even deeper love and openness in Christ and to the gifts which are offered to you. We promise to support you with our love and prayers. MORNING TEA will be served after 10.30am Mass.
All welcome.
If you are new to St Brendan’s please complete a census card and introduce yourself to Fr Hien.
