  • Well, its summer again in the Northern Hemisphere and that means vacation time, BootCamp time worldwide, fun time, kids-at-home time and one of the busiest seasons for the WorldVentures family. At company headquarters, we find ourselves in full stride preparing for the next wave of advances and enhancements queued for BootCamp, A View from the Edge and Momentum. Yes, the plans extend even beyond that timeframe and they should; we have much at stake and more opportunity than ever to better extend our reach and enhance your ability to showcase, sell and, of course, enjoy our one-of-a-kind DreamTrips Membership and the very best opportunity in our industry.

Weve nearly quadrupled in size in the last couple of years, all the while doing our best to deliver more value, more diversity, more earning opportunities, more fun, freedom and fulfillment. Its an ever-evolving WorldVentures in which we live, and our vision for the future places us as the most trusted name in leisure experiences and abundant living. Thats a big statement. We arent doing it alone. Who we are today is the result of deep partnership, the creativity of a collective culture of serving and innovation in experiences, contribution and life enhancement.

We are champions of the Good Lifeliving on your own terms, mastering your own destiny, changing your reality, empowering and supporting our families, friends and colleagues to raise the potential of the whole of us ... all of this to realize something more. Whats possible? Whatever you want. And the truth is that what we intend matters but what we do matters more. And were doing it together.

Were not designing a future based on a sterile business environment or objectives that dehumanize the evaluation of our needs. We are looking at the nature of your request, your desires and challenges. We are looking at the obstacles and the opportunities with equal consideration. We are constantly evaluating the experience from top to bottom, constantly listening to your feedback. We believe that this is the only way we will build a giant that shakes up industries and changes thinking about the influence and importance of your voice. If we live in a socially connected and monetized world, you are the poster children, the very model for how business will be done in the future: fast, diverse, hyper-focused, personally appealing and rewarding. Its the storefront of the We era.

Ultimately, our roadmap for WorldVentures has been an ever-clearer course to provide all of this to you and our collective customers. Weve increased the ways in which you earn, multiplied the number of people earning significantly, made it easier than ever to earn a vacation, shared the concept, built a global business, impacted lives and contributed ... and weve just begun.

Over the course of the next few months, more major advances will be shared that represent the next evolutionary advents in our process. Weve been previewing the enhancements for you long in advance and will continue to do so. When we say, What you do today matters, its not hype; its good advice, a hint. Its time again to raise the volume of the rallying cry and band together. Our One Big Team is an Earth-shaker. Lets go shake some Earth.

  • As many of you may know, we established a Trust Council consisting of Representatives, WorldVentures employees and the executive team to ensure we continue to meet our commitment to honor, embody and expand trust in all areas of our business. At UNITED this year, the WorldVentures Trust Council had its first in-person meeting with 20 members in attendance, where we discussed how to improve our brand and overall reputation. We examined issues that could break trust with our Representatives and customers, and made several recommendations about how to build our brand globally. The good news is that work is well under way.

In each issue of Voyager, youll hear directly from Trust Council members about our initiatives and will learn about opportunities to help us build trust within our global community. Please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions with us. Email the council directly at [email protected]. For more information, please visit our website at worldventurestrust.com.

The Trust Council Principles We will always represent our business opportunity with honesty

and integrity, free of hype, exaggeration and spin. We will always be transparent in what it takes to succeed in our business, regarding the personal commitment of time, resources and skills.

We will address all trust-related questions or concerns we receive within 24 hours in a professional and transparent way.

We will never require, or even incentivize, our Independent Representatives to purchase commissionable products for the purposes of rank advancement, increased commissions, special bonuses or for any other reason.

We will periodically report to our stakeholders our trust policies and practices and the outcome and status of any concerns or questions we receive.

We will openly communicate all the ways to succeed with our company so that Representatives at every level of success and participation are celebrated.

  • One of the most powerful things you can do to market DreamTrips is have third-party validation. When someone your prospect doesnt know validates the product, it can be very powerful. Thats exactly what happens every time someone sees the blue You Should Be Here! sign. Its validation that DreamTrips are legit. You see, if the trips were terrible, they would not hold the little blue sign; they would hold a different sign.

So how can you use this little blue sign to your advantage?

The easiest way to validate the product is to take people to Instagram. Instagram allows users to hashtag pictures that are posted. If you do a search for #YSBH (You Should Be Here), you will find hundreds of pictures posted of people on DreamTrips. This is third-party validation at its best. Many of these pictures have been posted only minutes before you pull them up. The power of this is amazing. Nothing adds

more validity to what you are doing and promotes the DreamTrip product than showing pictures of people who are on a trip right now holding a You Should Be Here! sign.

Another site I recommend is a new website called www.youshouldbehere.com. This site pulls pictures from multiple social media sites and brings them into one news feed for validation. This is a great tool to show people experiencing the DreamTrips product.

HOW CAN YOU HELP OTHERS?By posting pictures on Instagram and other social media platforms that validate your business and your product and tagging them #YSBH. Pictures to post under the YSBH hashtag should be pictures of you on a DreamTrip or with the blue sign. So when someone else wants to validate the DreamTrips product, they see the blue sign. Pictures of you holding the blue sign on a beach or mountain top

or cruise ship or at a cool destination is validation that DreamTrips live up to their name.

On the other hand, here is what people do not want to see when they go to Instagram and search the #YSBH: A selfie of you and your dog. A picture with a cute saying about winning. A picture of you getting ready to go on a morning run. A picture of you and your best buddy toasting with a drink. A picture of you working out at the gym. Pictures like these are great to post on Instagram but not with the #YSBH.

The power of the sign is amazing. In my opinion, it is the most powerful tool we have. It validates who we are and what we do without even saying a word. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, the blue sign is worth a thousand memories as well. I hope to meet you soon on a beach somewhere or at one of our life-changing training events.

  • Anyone who meets Scott and Sheila Ross knows immediately that their faith is a vital part of their lives. Joining WorldVentures was very easy because it offered them the lifestyle they had always wanted. And they attribute the success they have achieved with the company thus far to faith. In only five years, they have become International Marketing Directors a goal they set from the time they began the business.

For both of us, our faith is really important, Scott says. Were given time and resources, and our lives have to count. Its up to us to be good stewards over what weve been given, and that plays out for us in a lot of ways.

Reaching International Marketing Director status has been our biggest accomplishment to date, Sheila says. We were resolute about achieving the IMD rank, and now I wake up and feel like its a dream. Its the mountain top.

To understand what brought the Rosses to this point, you have to know where theyve been. Both are from very humble beginnings; they always knew that they wanted a lot more for their family than they had been given access to growing up. They wanted more out of life and to be able to offer their children opportunities the two of them never had. As the years went by, they thought they were truly experiencing successa prosperous

corporate job and a comfortable lifestyle. But they knew they were made for more.

My family struggled financially my entire life, Scott says. But I had a picture to change that for my future and my childrenthats where Im extremely focused. Im here to give my children the head start that I never had so they dont have to struggle to get out of the starting blocks like I did.

Since joining WorldVentures in 2009, they have experienced a newfound freedom and ability to influence the world around them in a greater way. For Scott, working in corporate America seemed to be more of a duty and not something he knew would positively affect

his family for generations to come. He admits that while at his corporate job, he was rarely home and didnt have the type of relationship that he wanted with his three children.

I felt like I was playing small in corporate America, and I wasnt making the best use of my talents. I asked myself, Did God put me on Earth to sell software? And the answer was noI knew I had a bigger calling.

That calling led Scott to step outside of his comfort zone and wholeheartedly pursue something more meaningful. He believes that the measure of ones life isnt about material possessionshouses, cars or moneybut

    MASTER

the number of people you can influence positively. The ability to impact lives and have dedicated family time are critical to the way the Rosses measure success.

After being married for 15 years, we had created what we thought was a version of success, but it didnt truly satisfy us, Sheila says. When we were introduced to WorldVentures, we met people whose lifestyles caught our attention in a big way. They were able to live their lives around their priorities.

I knew exactly what I didnt want, but I didnt know what I wanted until I met some people from WorldVentures, she adds.

We were resolute about achieving the IMD rank, and now I wake up and feel like its a dream. Its the mountain top. - Sheila Ross

  • Scott echoes his wifes sentiments. The couple was very impressed with the freedom and lifestyle WorldVentures provided, and now their dreams have been made a reality. They had a lot of fast results and success and credit that with being plugged in to the company.

We have a passion for travel because God gave us this amazing Earth, Scott says. And WorldVentures provided the outlet for us to live what were passionate about.

The idea of becoming financially free through this company is definitely equipping us to have the time and resources to focus on physical, intellectual and spiritual wellness, he adds.

Effectively managing the time and means weve been given is something Scott speaks about frequently. The topic of stewardship is

very close to his heart as he strives to multiply his talents and abilities. In doing that, Scott believes hes truly a master in the art of living. That is, having your life in total alignment with your purpose.

I constantly want to advance to a higher level. I want to be a better husband, father, leader, communicator, Christian, friend, citizen and disciple, he says. So, if youre truly a master in the art of living that, to me, involves growth by default.

And as a result of the growth theyve seen in their business, Scott and Sheila show no signs of slowing down. Theyre mapping out their next goals and creating opportunities for their teammates to advance. Now, their focus is bringing others along on the ride to the top. Scott and Sheila are putting even more effort

into building their team so others can see how WorldVentures can change their lives.

We havent taken our foot off of the pedal. Im more motivated than Ive ever been, Scott says. Were planning to have an army of RMDs, NMDs and IMDsso were just getting started.

When asked how it feels to achieve a goal that he set five years ago, Scott finds it hard to put it into words.

Its hard to explain this feeling. I wish everybody could feel this because if they could, theyd do everything it takes to reach this rank. Were able to do some things with our family that weve always wanted, things that will impact a lot of lives and bring multi-generational change.

    12

  • No matter what happens in life, this is something no one can ever take away from you, he adds.

Now, the Rosses can continue to live as they were destined to.

  • Its unbelievable to be walking through the airport and hear someone across the way yell, There go the hope givers! Buddy and Debbie Edge recount this experience with enthusiasm for the gratitude they receive in a career they never anticipated. With a combined 60 years of experience as teachers in the Mississippi Educational System, the Edges thought retirement was on the horizon. Instead, a suggestion from a fellow teacher led to an opportunity that changed their lives. As Reps, the Edges bring many of the skills they honed as teachers. Sharing a passion to change lives for the better, Buddy and Debbie most identify with the Core Value Deliver and Promote Excellence. Buddy says it best:

We must have a steadfast focus on providing the highest value and quality experience for every Rep.

Key to their philosophy is the belief that their destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice. Debbie reflects how, five years ago, We were getting close to retirement, and we werent going to be able to live on it! Thats when they turned a chance conversation into an opportunity, and an opportunity into a new direction.

We were asked by another teacher to take a look at the program, Buddy says. Because we knew this lady well and knew that we could trust her, we decided to jump on board,

mostly for the travel. And while traveling the world remains a beloved component of their experience with WorldVentures, they are also happy at home having doubled their residual accrued in retirement earnings and each now driving a BMW.

Buddy and Debbie do not hesitate to say that becoming full-time Reps has been a literal life changertheir financial uncertainty has been replaced by stability and freedom. They appreciate the expansive and liberating aspects of work and travel for themselves and others, proud to say that their teammates are working full time with WorldVentures and they have seen people take vacations that they could only previously dream about.

You can hear the teaching values persist when they say, When you develop yourself, you become successful, but when you develop others, you become significant! Achieving success for themselves and helping others thrive means living their values and finding fun, freedom and fulfillment.

Entering a new field meant there was a lot for Buddy and Debbie to learn. Their first-year goal of becoming Director didnt materialize, but

    LIVING THE CORE VALUES

Our mission is to change as many lives as quickly as possible, not only financially, but also the conditioning of ones thoughts in a positive manner.

    14

  • The Edges find a balance between staying active and involved while making time for their own travels. In the last five years, theyve gone on 40 trips, 24 of them DreamTrips. Living rich means doing the things we want to do and going places we want without worrying about time or money! Buddy says. We could never do this as teachers. The week before Christmas we had friends going to NYC. They asked us to go. We booked our flights, our transfer fees, the hotel on Broadway, three Broadway shows, tickets to the top of the Empire State Building and the ferry around Manhattan Island all paid for with Travel Dollars!

Experience has been Buddy and Debbie Edges greatest teacher. From their first DreamTrip, they were able to see the world in a new way, and to see how their dreams could become reality. Their lives have changed enormously in the five years since joining WorldVentures, but some things stay the same We always tell everybody, Debbie says, we educated children for 30 years, and now were teaching their parents how to make a living . . . living!

they persevered. We always tell everybody, we werent 30-day wonders, but two-year blunders! It took us two years to go direct and four years to go RMD! But we got there!

With dedication and belief, Buddy and Debbie evolved their approach. When you first start out in the business, its all about you! Buddy says. Then your business starts growing: you get into the personal development. And its not about you anymore; its about the success of others, your teammates and all the other friends you have met along the way! The Edges find true joy and purpose in changing peoples lives for the better, and find WorldVentures ideal to practicing the values that lead to excellence.

Our mission is to change as many lives as quickly as possible, Debbie says, not only financially but also the conditioning of ones thoughts in a positive manner. This means having a positive attitude and a positive mindset.

The Edges are passionate and truly invested in their work, and part of their pursuit of excellence is helping others to flourish. We are here to give others HOPE: Helping Other

People Excel, Buddy says. Pulling from their own experiences, WorldVentures tools and resources, and the Bible, the Edges bring a versatile set of skills to the table to thrive and troubleshoot how to help a Rep who needs a boost. Theyve found one of the best systems of building their business is to apply what Troy and Byron teach, working at the bottom of your group! You see, if they become successful . . . we can go fishing! Bonds have grown from the investment that Buddy and Debbie show their teammates, and theyve forged treasured friendships.

Staying motivated and inspired takes dedication, and the Edges keep invigorated by staying active and present. Theyre enthusiastic to attend WorldVentures events, including Momentum, UNITED, BootCamp and the View.

We never miss Regionals unless were training somewhere! Debbie says. Always practicing their invested positive outlook, they believe, If you dont have a meeting, a meeting needs you! You have to stay around the campfire! Get into the books and CDs. If you change the way you think, then youll change the way you are.

  • It was November 2008, the nadir of the worst global recession since the Great Depression. After a 23-year career with the same financial services firm, Tom Goris discovered that his industry, though faring better than most, was not immune to the economic downturn. Many bankers had lost their jobs as their firms faced losses from bad loans or folded altogether. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 296,500 fewer people were in banking and finance than at the start of the crisis. And it became increasingly apparent that Tom might join the legions of those who had left.

I was at a low point in my career, he shares. I had been in financial services, in management, and there were a lot of corporate mergers and acquisitions going on. My company had changed ownership three times. I was wondering if I would stay in financial services, or take a leap of faith and go in a completely different direction.

  • With Tom in the drivers seat and Jill at his side, the couple set their sights on the future with laser-sharp focus, and quickly built a strong team of Representatives.

    18

  • Leading up to this point, Tom and his wife, Jill, had gone through what they call a six-year deserta lean season during which they were living quite literally from paycheck to paycheck. They were what the Corporation for Enterprise Development calls the liquid asset poor, people with income albeit an insufficient amount to live comfortably in retirement or cover unforeseen financial emergencies. And like so many of them, the Gorises problems were compounded by the ravages of the 2008 recession.

Then Tom received a call from a friend that would change everything.

He wanted me to sit down with him and let him show me an idea, Tom recalls. This was a friend whom I had known for 15 years. The idea he wanted to show me was WorldVentures. Over the years, I had always been intrigued by network marketing, but it wasnt until WorldVentures that I saw a product that I wanted to talk to people aboutone that brought value and savings to people. When I saw WorldVentures, it was the right idea at the right time. PLOTTING THE COURSEMotivated by a primal drive to provide for his family, in his first four years in the business, Tom invested all of his time and energy in WorldVentures.

We dropped everything and did it full time, he explains. Thats not a recommendation; its just a choice that we made. It may sound simple, but it was about paying the bills. I saw WorldVentures as a way to build a financial system to support my family, and get ahead financially. In the beginning, I didnt believe it would become what it has become.

With Tom in the drivers seat and Jill at his side, the couple set their sights on the future with laser-sharp focus, and quickly built a strong team of Representatives. It seemed a natural progression for Tom, whose previous career achievements hinged on his ability to build and motivate teams.

We began to experience financial freedom in the first 18 months and time freedom in our first two years, but it took four years to hit International Marketing Director, he says. At that time, between our fourth and fifth year, we were beginning to see how our lives were

    19

  • changing emotionally, mentally and financially through the trainings, through the system that they teach and with the help of our teamour individual team and the WorldVentures team overall. It helped us experience a life that we could only dream of previously.

Tom is both proud and humbled by the success he has attained to date. Now hes setting new targets as his team moves into even higher gear.

Ive hit a number of goals, and theres a part of me that feels like I did in the beginning when I was trying to picture that goal of hitting IMD, he says. In a way, I feel like Im starting over. One of my goals is a seven-figure income. Another goal is an IMD on three lines of lineage, which means Ive helped three teams mature to the IMD level.

CALIBRATING THE SYSTEMSToms strategy for building his business is based upon existing, tested methodologies taught by WV leaders, including one-on-ones and two-on-ones, travel parties and big events. Among the sales tools he uses are Just Push Play, Vacation Sooner and (his personal favorite) Living Proof magazine, which chronicles Rep success stories. But perhaps the most essential component of Toms growth plan is helping people identify and achieve their respective goals. This requires keen discernment to ascertain individual motivations and adjust his sales focus accordingly.

Today, Tom and Jill are able to experience more, give more and live

more closely aligned with their purpose.

  • There are different levels of desire that people come to WorldVentures with. Some people just want to be members and travel and have fun, but they dont want to be Reps. They just want to enjoy our products. Its critical that we help those people experience the productteach them how to book a trip, use the websites, let them be our advertising.

He continues, Second, there are people who want to be Reps and want to get their fees waived. They cant envision a residual income check; they cant envision doing

this full time. If thats their goal, I want to help with that. Third, there are people who do want residual income.

The fourth and final level, he said, includes entrepreneurial hopefuls who want to quit their jobs and do WorldVentures full time. And, having done so themselves, Tom and Jill are poised to help them reach that goal. Weve learned that if we take a person who just wants to travel and use our membership, and treat them like they should do this full time, they dont stay with it long, he explains. When we

help them get what they want, theyll come back, and theyll want more. Then we get what we want. Its a simple strategy. So were helping them choose their race and set their pace.

Tom and Jill also coach their team along the way to assist them in leveraging their strengths and overcoming any deficiencies.

I remember when I started in financial services years ago, I was scared to pick up a phone and make a call out of fear of rejection and lack of skill lack of

    22

  • experience, he says. As I reflect on those years, I see its the same hurdle but a different verse with WorldVentures. As you develop skill, you build confidence. As you build confidence, the things that once intimidated or discouraged you become non-issues.

ENJOYING THE JOURNEYToday, Tom and Jill are able to experience more, give more and live more closely aligned with their purpose. That purpose, that calling, is to fulfill a basic tenet of their faithto demonstrate good stewardship of

their gifts by sharing them with others. Faith is a big part of our life. Im glad that WorldVentures allows us to live out our conviction and beliefs, Tom shares. Its a vehicle to live the life Im called to live. Its the best vehicle that Ive come across.

Among the many charitable causes the Gorises support are an orphan network in Cambodia, prison ministries, global missions, church founding, church leadership development and private Christian education. They also help their fair share of individuals in need.

  • Spiritually, part of my development is giving. Tom continues. Its always been an important thing. Thats a big priority, and during the desert time, some of that dried up. WorldVentures gives us the ability to own real estate and rental properties and do things above and beyond to actively pursue our dreams. Today, our giving is happening at the highest level its ever happened in our life.

And after 30 years of marriage and three children, the Gorises finally enjoy true work-life balance and quality time with their growing extended family.

We have a daughter, age 27, who is married and [at the time of this March interview] expecting our first granddaughter. We have a son, age 25, who just had our first grandson. And then theres Lydia, our youngest, who is 19 and a sophomore at Iowa State University. Our family loves to travel together, and we have taken some wonderful DreamTrips.

Having just returned from New York on spring break, Tom says he could only imagine what the years ahead will be like traveling with grandkids. I dont know if theres a better way to build memories and lasting relationships than spending your time and resources traveling together. Thats what we talk to people about every day. That gets me excited. Traveling with my family motivates me.

Ive experienced a lot of fun things over the years with WorldVentures. When youre living paycheck to paycheck, you mentally start to let go of believing thats even something to pursue. Through the desert time in my life, I started to let go and give up on having extra things in our lifea second home, even extra hobbies like boating and having horses.

MAINTAINING PERSPECTIVEFrom a professional standpoint, Tom counts hitting IMD as his biggest achievement to date, followed by helping many people on his team earn residual income.

Another big accomplishment has been coming back from that six-year desert and building again, he adds. The personal trials that we went through when we came into WorldVentures we had to work through while building the business. I had a lot of

    24

  • development that had to happen, and I refer back to the training and the leaders who have helped me stay the course.

As enthusiastic as he is about WorldVentures, he concedes its not been easy or always glamorous. There are, of course, the granular administrative details associated with running a business. Then theres the continuous affront to the ego that all marketing professionals face when confronted with objections. But Toms greatest challenge arises from his almost paternal sense of responsibility for his team.

I think my least favorite parts of the business have been watching other people struggle, and wanting other peoples success more than they want it, he says. Ive learned to embrace even the least favorite part. Ive trained myself to not see the struggle as being a negative thing. All of these least favorite parts are part of the struggle that build the character that changes and shapes us into the leaders we want to become. We dont have anyone who is functioning at the highest level at WV who is not working with the least favorite parts daily. But theyve learned to look at it as part of the price to get the prize.

To stay replenished emotionally and spiritually, Tom reads the Bible from Genesis to Revelations every year. He also devotes 15 minutes a day to reading books or listening to CDs on personal development.

WorldVentures offers a phenomenal personal development experience. One of the keys to changing our position in life is to change our thinking, he explains. The other thing that keeps us motivated is just the fact that theres a team of people we need to help accomplish their goals and dreams. Weve had a lot of help accomplishing ours; we have a responsibility to help others.

Although Tom and Jill initially chose the WorldVentures career path for the financial opportunity, theyve remained committed because of the invaluable intrinsic rewards. To them, passion and purpose beat a bigger paycheck any day.

Jill and I have hearts full of gratitude for an amazing business opportunity and amazing company, and for making friends and having family that we get to experience life with around the work in this company, Tom observes. I would never have dreamed five years ago that our life could be as full as it is today. We are blessed.

  • The phrase living in a bubble does not conjure the amplified spirit of someone who arrives transformed by his journey through the passage of the world. Rather, it brings to mind myopic, arm-chair explorers who cannot venture beyond their own perspective. The great thing about WorldVentures is that it fundamentally alters the way people live. Take the inspired Reps who reach the rank of Regional Marketing Director, for instance. RMDs do not sit idle, or live in a bubble or watch from the sidelines, or any other metaphor that equates with reluctance to see the world. Rather, they throw themselves into each experience with abandon, waking each day to transform lives and encounter the texture, sound, culture and beliefs of the people they meet. RMDs change hearts and open minds, and it directly affects the way they live. The harder they work, the further they go, improving the very fabric of communities around the globe.

Each year, we host a trip to honor the efforts of Reps whove reached the rank of RMD and above, a trip that pulls out all the stops and combines exotic and must-see locales with the ultimate in luxury and our undying gratitudethe coveted RMD trip. This year, those who qualified headed to the favorite destination of dignitaries and royalty, the world-famous Half Moon Bay Resort in Jamaica. And during their stay, stirred each day by their surroundings, we saw the modest and travel-worn, the proud and charismatic, the passionate and perceptive all come together to embrace abundance and make the singular transformation of those who have reached a benchmark for living, with the knowledge that the best is yet to come.

Congratulations to newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Roybal, married during the RMD trip! Ceremony performed by Scott Ross. Check out the next issue of Voyager for the full-length feature article!

  • shared with me. I want them to dream big, start with the end in mind and have vision.

My favorite part of the business is helping others become the leaders they already are; they just havent realized it yet, she continues. I dont believe God puts dreams into your heart and intends for them to go unfulfilled. Everyone deserves to have an abundant life.

With a 20-year background in nursing, Cassandra has always been driven to serve others, and she says her new calling has empowered her to do that on an even deeper level. During that first trip to Mexico, she spent a day doing mission work. This year, shell make two mission trips to Guatemala and Liberia. This company helps you search deep inside and find out what you have to offer the world. It brings out the best in you.

The memories of that first WorldVentures trip to Nuevo Vallarta still live strong in Cassandras heart. In her mind, shes still zip-lining through the jungle and basking in ocean breezes. And, with her family by her side, she wont quit until shes helped as many people as she can discover their own bliss.

The view from the boat was surreal: stunningly beautiful ocean, vast stretch of white sand, a crew of massage therapists waiting on the dock in front of a five-star resort, ready to eliminate any lingering stresses from this group of travelers. Cassandra Pope was one of them. And after five years without a vacation, during which shed been deeply in debt, unable to sleep, working 90-hour weeks while raising two children and working on a doctorate, there was no more welcome sight than those massage therapists. It was her first trip with WorldVentures, to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. And in that moment as her knots were kneaded into oblivion, she snapped a selfie, along with her sign: You Should Be Here!

Cassandras journey to WorldVentures wasnt typical. The year before that trip, she was a special needs nurse coordinator making close to six figures. She was a pastors wife, the first lady of her community, with two young children. By all accounts, most people thought I had it going on.

The problem was, she didnt have it going on. Shed perfected the art of putting on a good

show. But in fact, she was miserable, under incredible stress and unable to slow down. Her children were in before- and after-school care, and by the time Cassandra arrived home, they were usually asleep.

Then a colleague invited her to a WorldVentures presentation. It completely blew my mind, Cassandra says. I knew it was the gift Id been praying for. She signed up soon thereafter and immediately started sharing the opportunity with friends on her lunch breaks. Within three weeks, shed welcomed six new Representatives.

After six months, I decided to fire my boss and live my own dreams, she says. I just wanted my time back and to have the chance to see my kids grow up, and WorldVentures gave me that within a years time, she says. Today, her team is nearly 1,300 strong.

Cassandras primary strategy for success? Drive depth and duplicate your team fast, she says. I want to know what motivates my team members and how far they want to take this opportunity. Then I hold them accountable for the goals they

  • I went to Guatemala for a VolunTour in December 2013, and it positively changed my life, he shares. I went there thinking I was going to help them, but they gave me so much more. Despite their circumstances, they have so much gratitude and joy. Thats inspiring. Im going to India this year on a VolunTour mission focused on hygiene and nutrition, and Im looking forward to it.

Rob says its humbling to reflect on how far hes come since joining WorldVentures. In 19 months, hes gone from taking public transportation to owning a luxury sedan, from renting a room to planning his dream home, and from fantasizing about world travel to skydiving in Dubai. But perhaps the biggest bonus has been witnessing his mother and brother experience a taste of freedom, too.

Theyre both Senior Reps, he says proudly. My greatest accomplishment has been building something thats solid, with no tricks or gimmicks, just integrity. My advice to others who want to do the same is to get out of your own head. Believe big and plug into the system. If someone else did it, you can do it faster by learning from their experiences. Today, I am truly a free man. Anything is possible.

Freedom is not merely a state of being; its a state of mind. For five years before joining WorldVentures, RMD Rob De La Rosa was a cellular store manager whose only ambition was to become an area manager. As a first-generation Dominican from a Bronx family of five, a lot rested on Robs shoulders. And while hed attained a respectable position at a stable company, the return on his time investment was marginal at best.

I wasnt happy. I had no car; I was renting a room from a friend, he recalls. My energy was depreciating day by day. I knew I wasnt put on this Earth to sell cell phones my entire life. The thing I wanted to do most in life was to travel the world. I had been to Acapulco, Miami, Vegas, California and my homeland, but I wanted to travel more extensively. I also wanted to create a better life for my family, and I wanted a vehicle to give back.

Robs passion and purpose came into alignment in October 2012, when a friendSasha Rodriguezintroduced him to the WorldVentures opportunity. Sasha had worked her way up to Marketing Director, and she convinced Rob he could do the same while maintaining his full-time position. But Rob knew he was unwilling to work two jobs in perpetuitysomething

had to give. So for eight months, he plugged into the trainings and worked the business part time as he plotted his corporate exit strategy. He also recruited his mother, who worked as a teachers aide, and brother, a patient registration clerk, to join the business.

I was a WorldVentures Director about to hit Marketing Director. On June 5, I would reach five years with my employer, so that was my target date to leave, Rob says.

    And he hasnt looked back.

Today, I have peace of mind and time (beautiful, precious time), which is the most valuable commodity in the world, he explains. Now when I wake up, Im grateful that Im getting up, because I can stretch and enjoy my surroundings. I crack every egg in my omelet. I listen to [personal development] audio in the morning and go to the gym. Anything I can learn from, I do to enhance and grow as a person. I tell everybody WorldVentures doesnt change you; it helps you identify a better you.

In addition to building wealth and helping others do the same, WorldVentures has given Rob a platform to express his benevolence for those who are still struggling.

  • A friend of the Adrians, who introduced them to WorldVentures, quickly connected them to Dennis Bay. As Denny recalls, It was within two weeks after we enrolled in WorldVentures. Our first meeting was in the Singapore Changi Airport because both of us had tight schedules. Dennis was busy with WorldVentures, while I was busy with my conventional business. The meeting went well and was very productive because Dennis gave us the vision and the big picture of WorldVentures and he had a great ability to explain in detail the company, the product and the compensation plan.

The Adrians believe that its important to have him as a mentor because he was a successful networker in the past, earning a six-figure income with his previous companies, before joining WorldVentures. The Adrians did not have previous experience in network marketing, but Dennis Bays proven experience helped them build their team in a smart way. Dennis mentored the Adrians in building a WorldVentures business and the Adrians sincerely appreciate his help, support and wisdom, and are grateful that he is a true servant leader. Thanks to the mentorship of Pastor Joey Bonifacio and International Marketing Director Dennis Bay, the Adrians have been able to develop a strong WorldVentures business, allowing them to fulfill their passion of helping others attain their dreams.

Denny and Susy Adrian were motivated to become WorldVentures Representatives after frequently witnessing people search for hope and looking for ways to change and improve their financial life. The Adrians joined the company in November 2012, and within one month they were able to touch more than 100 lives through WorldVentures. As Denny says, It has been an exciting journey. Meeting with so many people from various backgrounds. Old and young, regular people to very prominent people. This is certainly something you could not find in your conventional or traditional business. By becoming Representatives, Denny and Susy were able to become messengers of hope to many people as they stretch themselves to serve others in achieving their dreams.

A key tool to their recent success was building their business based on relationships. They learned a great deal from their mentor Pastor Joey Bonifacio, who trains leaders in the church not to be dependent on him but to connect to God. The Adrians value Pastor Joeys insight. He mentors us and shows us that everyone is real and normal, and not perfect. We love his humility and integrity, Denny says. Pastor Joeys philosophy is explained in his best-selling book LEGO Principles, and the LEGO principle that the Adrians enjoy the

most is: It all boils down to a relationship with God and relationships with others. As Pastor Joey says, If you can connect to the top with God and to the bottom with others, you can pretty much shape the world you live in.

Denny and Susy have had help achieving their dreams from another mentor as well, International Marketing Director Dennis Bay.

  • that Athanasios values most. Knowing he has a small part in helping others find their best possible life is what keeps that fire inside Athanasios raging on. His goal is to build a team of self-made billionaires all over the world and ignite a passion in others to live their life with freedom, love, and most of all, a smile on their face every day!

Athanasios Stathakis was living in Greece and working three jobs. He had no free time to enjoy life, and all three jobs together didnt provide enough money to get ahead. In the summer of 2011, Athanasios heard about WorldVentures. He signed up not knowing much about the company but hoping it could provide the opportunity to get more out of life. Without understanding how the program worked, he tried to recruit friends. Athanasios admits his approach was ineffective, and his friends started mocking him. They called me crazy. They told me I bought into a scam and that I would lose all my money. I felt disappointed. Athanasios tried to give up, but his sponsor encouraged him to keep going. Looking Athanasios in the eye, his sponsor asked, Are we going to do this together, or am I going to do this alone? That question started a fire within Athanasios, and there was no turning back. Three weeks later, he reached senior rank and earned his first substantial paycheck.

In summer 2013, WorldVentures was holding its yearly international event, UNITED, in Las Vegas. Athanasios and his sponsor were emphatic that they had to attend the event if they were going to succeed. Athanasios approached his boss and asked for time off. Scheduled for May, UNITED conflicted with

Greek Orthodox Easter and his boss would not hear of giving him time off during their busy season. Disappointed and discouraged, Athanasios tried to think of any excuse to give his sponsor. But that fire for a better life was still burning inside him.

I stood in front of the mirror and asked myself, What are you doing? Are you going to make excuses or get results? Athanasios wanted more, and he was ready to stop making excuses. The following day, he walked into work and announced to his boss that he was taking time off, even if it meant losing his job. He flew to Las Vegas for UNITED, and there his life changed forever. Motivated and more committed than ever, Athanasios returned to Greece and quit his job. Once again his friends ridiculed him, calling him crazy and telling him that he couldnt afford to give up a good job. This time, Athanasios wasnt listening. Instead, he was working his way up to Director rank. Soon thereafter, he became Marketing Director.

Athanasios is now Regional Marketing Director, and he is living the life of his dreams. WorldVentures gives Athanasios the time and economic freedom to experience an abundant life. He travels to fantastic destinations around the world. With everything WorldVentures offers him, its sincere gratitude from others

  • enough to receive, but Im trying to make more room!

Many of her family members, friends and members of her congregation were fueled by her fire and have since signed on as WorldVentures Representatives. She takes great joy in seeing them succeed, and she loves sharing her expertise with them, training them and helping their businesses to grow. But shes also not afraid to use a little tough love when necessary. She explains, Out at trainings people pull me aside and ask me for prayer because they feel discouraged in this race. I never do the pity dance. Im going to challenge you. I will pray for you, but I will challenge you more on what are you saying, thinking, where you are heading. I am going to challenge people in their mindset. They dont know how far its going to go until they get started. Her next goals are to prepare her two oldest sons to join in as Representatives and maybe even go for International Marketing Director.

With prayer and hard work, Erica has become a force that cant be stopped, and she intends to keep going. With the support of her husband, children, extended family and congregation, she has only begun to conquer her dreams. WorldVentures is truly helping Erica lead a rich and fulfilling life with those she loves the most!

Erica Givins is practically a spokeswoman for positive thinking. As the mother of four boys, a pastors wife and first lady to the congregation of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and a Regional Marketing Director for WorldVentures, she spreads the message of a better life through faith and hard work with spunk and a dash of Southern charm.

Erica is a Memphis, Tennessee, native with a multitude of talents. Shes done everything from running a restaurant to owning a hair salon to touring the country as a backup singer. In November of 2003, she met her husband, Pastor John E. Givins, and after a whirlwind romance, they tied the knot in May of 2004. Although the early months of their marriage were wedded bliss, things soon came crashing down around them. Johns employer relocated to Boston, but the couple couldnt just move and leave their fledgling congregation at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Down to only Ericas income, their cash flow slowed to a trickle. Not long after, several deaths struck the family, dealing another devastating blow to Pastor John. The couple entered a dark period, simply trying to stay afloat as bills piled up and the churchs needs never stopped growing.

In the midst of it all, they relied on their faith and found the strength to stand together. Their family, which now included four sons, hadnt been on a

vacation in several years. They wanted to get away from their troubles and have fun for a change, but they couldnt go alone; naturally, they wanted to find a way to take the entire congregation! A friend introduced John to WorldVentures and, with it, the prospect of a very affordable cruise. In February 2012, Erica watched a WorldVentures presentation, and she was instantly hooked. Excitement is not the wordI felt the Holy Ghost leaping in my belly. I am looking at it thinking, I can do this! It was the answer to her prayers. She signed up that night, and success followed success. After six weeks, she had earned her BMW. She joked, It was a bit surreal to trade my hand-me-down Honda for a beautiful, silver BMW!

It took only a few short months for Erica to become a Director in July of 2012, and she was promoted to Regional Marketing Director in March of the following year. She is living her dreamshe is financially free, she can focus on the ministry of the church and she takes amazing vacations all the time! The world is her ministry, and shes taken her special brand of caring and compassion as far as Guatemala, where she traveled last year as part of a VolunTourism trip. • watching other people change and seeing them becoming better and more developed. It helps them in life, not just in business.

Gary says the trip to Mexico really opened his eyes and was an unforgettable experience, and a recent trip to London was also a major highlight.

He advises those who are just starting out that life starts outside your comfort zone. For those trying to accomplish a big goal, I would say make the goal bigger than you really want because then even if you fall short, you will land on the goal. And always remained focused; dont pay attention to distractions.

Gary says his goals include continuing to promote DreamTrips as the priceless experience that only our lifestyle club has access to, and that in the next year hed like to hit the rank of IMD and put his family together in their dream home.

I feel like everything happens for a reason, and all the decisions I made in the past were necessary to get me to this point, Gary says. And right now Im at such a great point in my life.

During a magic DreamTrip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, in 2013, Gary Cowan realized all his dreams were starting to come true. Just a year earlier, he had been working for Con Edison electric company in his hometown of New York City as a meter reader, and was temporarily unemployed due to a workers strike.

He was in his late 20s, married and wondered if he was ever going to get a chance to fulfill his dreams of making a better life for himself and his family. But after meeting WorldVentures Michael Jex, Cowans life started to change dramatically. He quickly started building his business and soon committed to WorldVentures full time.

In the process, he learned more about himself, and about what was possible.

This industry was very new to me, and I had no idea what was possible, Gary says, now 30 years old. Now, I cant believe how much the business has helped me be a better person, son, brother, husband and father.

Gary says that a major achievement for him was overcoming his fear of leaving his job at Con Ed to devote himself fully to WorldVentures: I was scared to do it, but I have conquered that fear and am loving every moment of my achievement.

In rising to Regional Marketing Director, Gary says he has been motivated by the desire to accomplish freedom not just for me, but for generations to come in my family. WorldVentures has given me so much purpose.

For Gary, living rich has meant having time, money and freedom to be with the people he loves most. He stays motivated by being around people who have things I want and have not yet achieved.

He motivates his team by working hard and hoping the team sees his effort.

  • Laurens favorite DreamTrip was at The Residences at Marival in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. She had the opportunity to swim with dolphins, something she enjoyed crossing off her bucket list, but she also had the opportunity to spend quality time with her team. One hundred and sixty people from her team were able to attend, and it was a team-building experience. They collectively enjoyed going on the catamaran, dancing in the rain and celebrating life. Lauren considers WorldVentures to be her family. By the looks of it, her family is growing by leaps and bounds.

Lauren Fultons entrepreneurial skills kicked into full gear when her parents shared their vision of what WorldVentures could do for their family. At that time, Lauren was attending Oklahoma State University where she was a sophomore taking 18 credit hours and the president of a campus ministry. Within two semesters of joining WorldVentures, she had reached Director.

WorldVentures gave Lauren a platform to grow. At the young age of 19, Lauren had no experience with business, and she came close to not joining because she was shy and quiet. Lauren has since advanced to Regional Marketing Director, and she thanks WorldVentures for giving her the courage to face her fears and for providing a strong support group, I saw other people my age who had freedom and camaraderie unlike anything I had ever seen. The idea of teaming up together to start a movement was an unshakable vision. To liberate people all over the world is what fired me up to really pursue the business no matter what doubts I had in myself. I saw the system at work.

Wanting to obtain her dreams, she learned to stand up with boldness and courage, eventually stepping into a leadership role so she could share the gift of WorldVentures with others.

As a child, Lauren dreamed of doing full-time mission work, wanting to give back and share the gospel. After joining WorldVentures, she was able to go to Liberia, Africa, for one month where she experienced what living rich meant to her.

Some of the richest people I have ever met were in Liberia; they may have slept on dirt floors, but they had such joy in the moment. Lauren has met so many amazing people, and she considers the people involved to be her favorite part of the business.

Its cool because they arent just pushing you for personal development but helping you achieve your goals, and we get to have so much fun along the way. We work and work, and then we go on a DreamTrip and it is a huge celebration.

  • A drastic and overdue change of scenery is one huge payoff of leaving the corporate world. I used to travel once a year during income tax season. Thanks to WV, I have taken 11 trips to date. I have been granted opportunities that were once dreams. Gail Spears said it best, My reality is better than my dreams.

While her friends posts led Tarah to discover WorldVentures, one thing that makes her excel and provide stellar guidance is the knowledge that no ones path is the same. She advises Reps to run their own race: Paying attention to what others are doing will side track and discourage you. The only person you should be in competition with is the old you.

Tarah takes her own advice to heart when acknowledging, What keeps me motivated is the fear of failing and the thought of going back to my old life, which I call the struggle. When asked if she worked her WV business full time or part time, she asserts, Thanks to WV I am now living full time.

Social media keeps us connected to friends, family and colleagues around the world. We integrate sharing our experiences online into our days, and reciprocate by browsing, liking and commenting on what is shared. Social media also provokes a spectrum of emotions. Perusing posts can confront you with your own longings, recall aspirations or be the catalyst to encounter content that starts to percolate a new dream.

Enter Tarah Davis. By sticking to what she knew best, Tarah obtained success. Thriving in academics, as a teen she was recruited for an internship in the Manhattan District Attorneys office that grew into a full-time position. After 10 years employed with the City of New York, stability was starting to feel more predictable than comforting.

While browsing online, Tarah noticed her longtime friend Gary Cowan kept posting about WorldVentures. It sparked her curiosity, and she reached out to him.

However, routine and responsibility prevented her from delving too deep. I was too busy to come see the concept that I had asked him about because at the time I was working my full-time job and two part-time jobs. When she ultimately attended a WV presentation, Tarah was captivated. What motivated me to become a Rep was the thought of giving myself the life I had been working so hard toward but was falling short of.

Now 15 months into WorldVentures, and recently promoted to Regional Marketing Director, Tarah acknowledges how long she had promised herself to live her dreams. My entire life I watched my mom struggle to take care of us, and I promised myself that I would do better as soon as the chance was given. I was at a point in my life where I desperately needed a change. My decisions in the past directly affected my decision to join WV. If I had not experienced hardship and accomplishment, I would not have been humble enough to accept such a huge blessing as WV.
