MIG was founded in 2000 to provide a reporting venue for witnesses of
unusual events. Many unusual events occur in Missouri each year, which
are not reported and subsequently are not investigated. A goal of MIG is to
have representatives in each of the 115 Missouri counties. This would create
a reporting network of spotters who will be aware of what is happening in

Alien Abduction
The terms or abduction phenomenon describes "memories of being
taken against one’s will by apparently nonhuman entities, and
subjected to complex physical and psychological procedures."
People claiming to have been abducted are usually called
"abductees" or "experiencers." Typical claims involve being
subjected to a forced medical examination that emphasizes their
reproductive system.
Abductees sometimes claim to have been warned against
environmental abuse and the dangers of nuclear weapons.
Consequently, while many of these purported encounters are
described as terrifying, some have been viewed as pleasurable or
transformative.

so, I took a picture of it. Until I looked at the pictures on my computer, I never noticed
the object following the helicopter. It just looks like a "cigar shaped" object.

NEWS FROM THE INSTITUTE OF FRONTIER SCIENCE
The Institute Of Frontier Science gives a great opportunity for those who are
writing or making reports in the field of Ufology, as well as seasoned
researchers.
Its founder and leader is Steven S. Bass, who in addition to being the
Founder and Director of the Institute is also well known and respected by
everyone involved in the Ufology community.
"The Institute of Frontier Science is an elite fellowship of highly
experienced and knowledgeable specialists in the scientific field of
Ufology."
The Institute of Frontier Science offers people the chance to embark on the
truths that lie within the UFO genre. IFS will also educate the uneducated on
a subject that has been kept behind closed doors for much too long. The
institute will take time to build, but already has the “Big Guns” in place. IFS
is for the truth and nothing but. People are encouraged to join this great
undertaking, for what I am sure will be a rewarding and educational venture
into the science of Ufology.

PARANORMAL TIPS
Digital Camera Issues…Blurred Photograph
A problem with digital cameras is that they tend to need more light than a film camera to
create a comparable exposure. As a result, slower shutter speeds are often used to get
enough light. This can make it very difficult to take a photo without some blurring. The
solution is simple: use a tripod. They're not very expensive, and you can mount almost all
cameras to one. This step will result in a huge improvement in photo quality. If you have
to take a photo with a slow shutter speed and you don't have your tripod handy, try using
burst mode. It will take practice to hold the camera steady (hold it against your face and
exhale as you press the button), but the burst will give you a better chance at getting one
un-blurred picture out of the bunch.
When in doubt, go for a greater depth of field. With digital images, it is always possible
to use software to take certain areas of a photo out of focus, but you can never "fix"
anything that's out of focus to begin with.
If your camera has a viewfinder in the upper left corner, you may have problems with
parallax, especially for close-up shots. This means that the viewfinder is looking at a
slightly different area than what the lens is seeing. Cameras with a through-the-lens
viewfinder don't have this problem. Using the LCD screen to line up your shot can help,
but the screens still don't usually show all of what the lens is seeing, and they can make it
difficult to focus properly.
Reading your cameras instruction manual and taking lots of test shot will improve your
photos and knowledge of digital camera use.
Cell Phone Camera Issues
The most common cell phone problem with cell phone photos is they end up blurry. This
occurs for a couple of reasons.
Cell phone cameras need to be properly held. You always want to hold the camera
steady with both hands. The tricky part is clicking the shutter button after holding
and composing a shot. So one thing to remember is that typically the shutter of the
camera does not activate until the button is released. That means you can first
push and hold down the button, frame your shot, and then release the button to
release the shutter. Avoid trying to frame the shot while you push down the
button.
Also try to rest part of your phone on one of your fingers or in the palm of your
hand to get a firm grip.
You might also try bracing your camera against a wall or on a table to help you
steady a shot. Even setting up a tripod for your cell phone camera is a useful idea
for portrait and group shots.

The less ambient light you’re shooting in, the more likely you’re going to get
blurry photos. Because you can’t increase the shutter speed or open the aperture
wider on a cell phone camera.
If the shot is not blurry but still not as sharp as it needs to be, you can try using an
image editor to sharpen the images — but this is less than ideal.
Shooting Moving Objects
Because cell phone cameras have slow shutter speeds, it’s nearly impossible to capture
moving subjects. To address this problem, you might try using a camera application that
delivers multiple shots (or what is called burst mode) after the shutter is pressed. Check
out camera apps for your particular type of cell phone.

The Blue Rocks
Re-told by S. E. Schlosser
Well now, the Blue Rocks have been here in Lenhartsville for nigh on
forever it seems. They are a bunch of huge boulders just setting in the field,
getting in everyone's way. How'd such huge stones get into that unlikely
looking place? Well, that's a story, and no mistake!
Seems someone told the Devil about a New World vegetable called a potato
that was the tastiest treat in the whole dad-blame county. Well, old' Lucifer
was unfamiliar with the vegetable in question and asked for a description.
Potatoes were round and hard, he was told; some were big, and some were
small.
Satisfied with this description, the Devil got himself down to Lehigh County
and started filling up his sacks with everything round and hard he could find.
He collected thousands of these hard round objects, and was planning on
collecting a thousand more. Then the bravest of his minions informed old'
Lucifer that the objects inside his sack weren't potatoes. They were rocks.
Well, that made Satan just plain mad. He had a temper tantrum that shook
everything up in the whole county. He shouted and he stamped his feet and
he jumped up and down. Then he ripped open those sacks and threw the
rocks all over the place. The rocks landed in gullies and in rivers and on the
mountains and in the fields.
A whole passel of rocks landed in the empty field near the old meeting tree.
They settled deep into the ground and no one could budge them. Since the
field was no good for farming after the Devil threw his "potatoes" into it, the
men-folk started using it as a local meeting place. And that's how the Blue
Rocks came to rest in Lenhartsville, at least, that's how the story goes.

UFO over Stonehenge? Britain releases its last big batch of X-Files

A mysterious "discoid shape" is circled in a grainy photocopy of a picture taken at
Stonehenge and submitted to the British Ministry of Defense's UFO Desk in 2009. The
ministry said trying to identify the speck would be an "inappropriate use of defense
resources."
Britain's Ministry of Defense finished up its release of almost 60 years' worth of UFO
sighting reports on Friday June 21, 2013 with a bang: a 4,300-page cache of documents
that describe strange sights over Stonehenge and Parliament, and laid out the reason why
the ministry shut down its UFO desk three and a half years ago.
PASSING: Jesse Marcel, Jr. passed away on August 24th
in his residence of a heart
attack. Jesse was 77 years old. May he rest in Peace.

Art Bell returning to radio with Sirius show
about the paranormal.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Art Bell, radio's master of the paranormal and outward edges of
science, will return to the microphone on Sept. 16 with a new nighttime show on Sirius
XM Radio.
Bell was one of radio's top syndicated voices in the 1990s before walking away from his
nightly show in 2002 due to family issues. He worked occasionally after that but hasn't
been on the air since Halloween 2010.
"I missed it terribly," said Bell, 68, whose weeknight show will air live from 10 p.m. to 1
a.m. ET. Sirius is building a studio at Bell's rural Nevada home where he will work.

IRANIAN CREATURE FOR SALE
On August 11, 2013 at 5:15 AM we received a series of photos of
the above 4cm creature from Iran. The gentleman claimed he
found it 5 years ago in Karaj Iran. After some extensive search
efforts it seems our submitter has been trying to peddle this
creature on the net looking for a buyer for some big cash. His
downfall on his claim was when he said it was 800 to 1000 yrs old
and only just died about 5 to 8 years ago. When we asked how he
knew that and what testing had been done he said a local person
performed some test that was not evasive but told him everything
he needed to know. No Carbon dating, no DNA testing, no MRI.
The photo is of a mummified human fetus nowhere near developed
fully. The yellow color comes from the minerals found in the soil
in that part of the country (Karaj Iran).
