2009
The Public Health Law Research (PHLR)
program is launched with a grant from the Robert
Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF)
2011
The LawAtlas Policy Surveillance Portal is created by the PHLR team. It provides a platform for the systematic collection, measurement and
display of local, state, and national law.
2015
The Policy Surveillance
Program is founded with a three-year grant from RWJF
LawAtlas.org
LawAtlas.org is the central place for creating, sharing, and accessing
authoritative health policy surveillance and related resources.

The Workbench
The Workbench is a tool that can be used to conduct policy surveillance

step of the policy surveillance process– Helpful templates used while conducting policy
