To ensure safe and smooth flow of port-related freight transport Antwerp Port Authority has invested in a dynamic traffic management system.
Whatever the product there is a fast and efficient solution for transport between the port of Antwerp and the European hinterland. There are various transport possibilities including shortsea, barge, rail, road transport and pipeline — all of which can moreover be combined.

The 1,584 employees of Antwerp Port Authority play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the port. They ensure that the port functions efficiently, and work together to secure a sustainable future for the port so that it can continue to play a leading role as a major international port. The Port Authority builds bridges and collaborates with its customers and stakeholders to maintain this leadership position.
