At the Academy, you and your child will be blessed by every one of our faithful teachers. They provide expert instruction of not only the academics but of the biblical application in each and every subject. Their desire is for every student to see God’s hand at work in all things, providing them with an invaluable compass for life. For information or to request a tour, call the Academy Office at 440.845.8668. Information is also available on our website at www.phcawarriors.com. Don’t forget to purchase gift/shopping cards. PHCA is able to purchase cards for less than their face value, so it doesn’t cost you any extra money. Stop by the Academy table in the glass walkway to purchase the cards at face value before you shop. We keep a large supply of cards on hand, so if you just pick one business you regularly frequent and commit to only go there with our cards in your wallet you are donating to the school each time you go.

The Cleveland Pregnancy Center will be having a baby shower and informational meeting on Thursday, April 21 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Stop in the glass walkway to sign up. Please bring a baby gift (newborn–3T) and be informed of the newest updates with the CPC while enjoying fellowship. Snacks and beverages will be served. Deep Sea Discovery Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it, July 18-22. Join us as we venture into the beautiful “under the sea” world that God has created. The kids will learn how God is with them and will watch over them wherever they go, a much needed truth for today. But before your summer fills up with “stuff”, make your commitment to be involved with a great outreach to children. Fill out the worker commitment form, in the glass walkway or church office. You’ll be able to get your area of choice, as well as commit to something that will point children to Jesus. But we need YOU to help carry out God’s ministry of reaching children for Christ. Sign-up begins April 17!

It’s not too early to be thinking about joining our team of dedicated Pioneer Girl leaders for next fall. Now is a great time to begin observing, and checking out the possibilities, as well as the the various age groups. Contact Pam Scott or Sue Hickey to take a look.

In our continuing efforts to meet the needs of our PHBC family, we are partnering with Matt Williams of Moriah Counseling and Consulting. Matt provides counseling to people from PHBC during the day on Wednesdays at the church and other times at his office in North Royalton. Matt is a clinically trained and licensed counselor and comes to us with many years of ministry experience. Most currently, Matt has served as Director of Grief Counseling at Cornerstone of Hope in Independence. To schedule a Wednesday appointment at the church with Matt, or for more information, please call the church office and ask for Kathy. The cost of each appointment is $50. We are glad to be able to offer this needed help to our church family.
