Cool florals and colorful mini-textures make our Liberty Woven quilt sparkle. And it’s so easy to do! Just add big blocks and two-inch strips to create the
woven design. A great project for beginners, a neat gift idea. Who knew such a colorful quilt could be so easy?

BLOCK 1 ASSEMBLY1. Sew (1) R 1-1/2” x 9-1/2” strip to (1) O 1-1/2” x 9-1/2” strip together, as shown. Make 8.2. Sew (1) RO unit to (1) D 7-1/2” x 9-1/2” strip. Square to 9-1/2”. Make 4.3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to make (4) Block 1B.BLOCK 2 ASSEMBLY4. Sew (1) R 1-1/2” x 9-1/2” strip to (1) E 8-1/2” x 9-1/2” strip. Square to 9-1/2”. Make 4.5. Repeat Step 4 to make (4) Block 2B.BLOCK 3 ASSEMBLY6. Sew (1) I 4” square to each side of (1) H 2-1/2” x 4” strip. Make 8.7. Sew (1) Q 2-1/2” x 4” strip to each side of (1) M 2-1/2” square. Make 4.8. Sew (1) IHI strip to top and bottom of (1) QMQ strip. Square to 9-1/2”. Make 4.9. Repeat Steps 6-8 to make (4) Block 3B.SASHING STRIP ASSEMBLY10. Sew (1) L 2-1/2” x 4” strip to each side of (1) O 2-1/2” square. Make 16.11. Repeat Step 10 to make (16) PMP strips.

FINISHING: Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
