There are two paths set before us. One narrow andone broad. The

consequences of choosing the correct path and running the raceappropriately are eternal with a righteous judgment at the end of the course!

Properly qualifying, obeying the rules, and enduring are crucial to the eternal outcome.Success is measured by completion of the correct path.

Less traveled. Few find it.Difficult, trials/tribulations/obstacles, need perseverance, must endure to the end.Much to narrow and arduous to bring along the things/pleasures of the world. Many will not accompany you on this journey.

Wide and well traveled.Enjoy the pleasures of life for a season.

No qualifying or preparation required. No rules, just right (in your own eyes).

Very accommodating to your selfish interest/desires.

The reason the narrow road is somuch less traveled is that few arewilling to devote themselves to the

    journey.

Qualifying to Enter at The Strait Gate Knowing GodJohn 3:16-17, For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into theworld to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18, And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather then the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light,

    because their deeds were evil.

    The Son ofGod Lightsthe narrowpath!

Matthew 1:21, And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call hisname JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Why did

Jesus come? Jesus shed blood does not allow you to stay in your sins!

1 John 3:8-9, He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from thebeginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroythe works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seedremaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Qualifying For The Strait Gate Understanding Sin

Galatians 2:17, But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are foundsinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

    OK to Sin? Think Again!

Isaiah 59:2, But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sinshave hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

John 8:34, Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin isthe servant of sin. That would mean sin is

Romans 6:16, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants yeare to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:9-13, Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no

more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, heliveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive untoGod through Jesus Christ our Lord; Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that yeshould obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments ofunrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members of righteousness unto God.

Galatians 6:7, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Romans 6:22-23, But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have yourfruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Godis eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Qualifying to Enter at The Strait Gate - Repentance

There is a fundamental difference between a Christian andan unbeliever. The Christian lives to Glorify God, thesinner rejects God's claim on his life and lives to pleasehimself. Sinners follow the broad path!

    Cry Out!

Qualification Evidence For Repentance New Creature

Romans 6:4-6, Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ wasraised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness oflife. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in thelikeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the bodyof sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Ephesians 4:22-24, That ye put off concerning the former conversation (life) the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Andthat ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new

creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.Your life will visibly change, people will notice! You will be Born

The old man would be that self-willed, self-seeking, rebellious, sinful person that does what isright in his own eyes. One determined to live according to his own will in a manner based uponhis own fleshly desires. If you live as the world then you have not let go of the old man.

Qualifying to Enter at The Strait Gate - LoveMark 12:30-31, And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the secondis like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none othercommandments greater than these.

1 John 4:7-8, Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth isborn of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

    Matthew 5:44, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good tothem that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you;

    1 John 4:8-10

1 John 4:20, If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not hisbrother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Preparation For The Course Grace & Faith

Matthew 7:20, Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Qualifying For The Strait Gate Evidence of FaithOne cannot have a great eternal hope in God and no evidence in their life to back it up:

Matthew 7:17, 20, Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt treebringeth forth evil fruit.

Galatians 5:22-25, But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law. And theythat are Christs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts, If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.

Staying On Course The Weight of The World(liness)

I John 2:15-17, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man lovethe world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is of the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And theworld passeth away, and the lust thereof: But he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing ofyour mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Luke 12:8-9, Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men,him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he thatdenieth me before men, shall be denied before the angels of God.
