Åke and his team in Nybro started to look at how a retail gift bag might also have the option of becoming a box. After trials with handmade samples based upon the knowledge of what could be possible in production the result became a multi-use product, where the user can decide for themselves if they want to use it as a gift bag or a gift box. This is a unique new solution previously not found on the market - and as such we have taken precautions and applied both for a patent and design protection on a European level.

We are now gearing up to create marketing material around this new gift solution, and Sales have already shown some hand-made samples to existing and potential customers receiving positive feedback and comments. We are looking forward to seeing the gift bag/box being produced for a customer, and this will be possible in August this year as the machine will have been re-built in order to manufacture the gift bag/box by that time.
