At the Muthoot Group, we have chiseled out our mission of growth. Over the years, the trust that we have generated, the confidence that people have in us and the unwavering commitment that we have to our principles, have become our greatest treasures. Needless to say, it is only by working tirelessly with courage that, every member of the Muthoot Group has contributed to the vibrant surge that the Group has repeatedly portrayed time and again.Donning the armour of vigorous determination and earnestly living the principles based on traditional values, the organisation has come a long way in proving its might. With great humility I would like to put forth that, with the grace of the Lord Almighty, the results of Quarter 01 of FY 2013 have been extremely rewarding. The total income has grown by 41% to stand at ` 1294 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) in this period has been ` 246 crore as against ` 190 crore last year, a YoY increase of 29%. However, our workings are not just directed at profits, we have initiated specific Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR ] activities too. The footprint of our branch network has significantly increased to touch nearly 4000 across 25 states and 4 union territories. The company is committed to all the stakeholders and will continue the business in public interest maintaining highest governance standards. Now, on our journey towards the next milestone in growth, we should consciously re-look at our working and attempt to further improve the quality of service. This is something that we should never forget. Our customers have great expectations from us and have entrusted us with a responsibility that goes beyond single transactions. Together, let us bridge the gaps and build strong relationships with our customers. This is possible only when we empower them in their businesses by fulfilling their requirements. Of course, as leaders in business and society, we should never forget our values and our unique corporate culture. I believe that we can shape the future by working hard in the present. H i gh mas t l i g h t i n g s y s t em & beautification of traffic island in the accident prone Ramanattukara By-pass junction, Calicut is being sponsored by The Muthoot Group. Mr. George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director presented the lighting system to the Ramnattukara Panchayath.

As a CSR initiative of Muthoot Group, a Solar Water Heater & Water Purifying System was donated to Govt. School, Kozhencherry. Dr. Georgie Kurian Muthoot, Executive Director, Muthoot Health Care Division inaugurated the facility. Mr. George M George (Executive Director, The Muthoot Group), Mr. Babu John Malayil (AGM - Corporate Communications, The Muthoot Group) were also present on this occasion.

Mr. M.G. George Muthoot, (Chairman, The Muthoot Group) inaugurated the new building of Snehatheeran Charitable Trust, one of the CSR projects of Muthoot Finance.

Police, Ernakulam range today at a function held at the Traffic Awareness Centre provided by Muthoot Finance to Traffic police for conducting training for Traffic offenders. He has completed this unique and thrilling 3848kms solo drive from Leh to Kanyakumari, covering 11 states, the National Capital and the Union Territory of Chandigarh, with certification in 32 destinations, in a record time of 99 hours 30 minutes. The record drive was flagged off by Mr. K.P Padmakumar,Executive Director, The Muthoot Group in the presence of Mr. K.R. Bijimon (Chief General Manager), Mr.C.V John (General Manager), & Mr. Cherian Peter (Chief Marketing Officer).

The award was conferred by The Directorate of Education, Government of NCT Delhi.

Dr. Sara George Muthoot (Principal, St. George’s School) was felicitated with ‘Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award-2012’ for her Services, Personal Achievements and Outstanding Contribution to the society. The award conferred by the India International Friendship Society (IIFS) was presented by a galaxy of eminent personalities including Dr.G.V.G.Krishnamurthy (former Chief Election Commissioner),

Shri Bhisma Narain Singh (former Governor of Tamil Nadu), Shri Sayyed S. Razi (former Governor of Jharkhand), Sardar Joginder Singh (former CBI Director) and Shri Gurmeet Singh (Director, IIFS) at a glittering function at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
