Background
Prior to 1992, RANR Port Divisions’ prime role was to train personnel to man Patrol Boats and Landing Craft
• Attack Class & Fremantle Class• LCH
Reserve capability peaked in 1991/92 with• 7 Reserve Patrol boat crews and • 2 LCH crews.
Reserve not used operationally

• Complementary General (Health, Dentists, Psych, Chaplain, Legal, Nurses,
Intelligence)
