Criteria of D1600

• D1600 uses as criteria for award of grant to clubs:– Is it within the Area’s of Focus?

(Note: this is not a TRF criteria!)– Wish to support many clubs– What contributes the club itself in project?– How much contributes club toTRF?– How often received club support from TRF in

past?

Paper, Web and mail

• TRF provides forms for clubs to use when applying and reporting on DG. See www.rotary.org. Makes life easy.

• D1600 mails these forms to clubs.• These forms remain in District. • Web: Only the spending plan and reporting is

entered via member access. Between TRF Evanston and D1600 only via web. Is very limited.

Paper, Web and mail (2)

• Mail is used a lot. Yes: a lot!– Between clubs and D1600 TRF commission– Why: Rotarians don’t read, don’t want to

search at www.rotary.org, get easily confused when things change, forget to report etc.

– So: task of TRF-Commission members is to stay friendly and customer centric when explaining these matters. Again.

– TRF staff always friendly and professional
