IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS

Why was Joy frustrated at the beginning of the video?

Can you share about a time when you were upset that people wouldn’t do exactly what you wanted them to do? Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.

If you were a great general who commanded a mighty army, how would you expect to be treated?

What happened when Naaman came to Elisha’s door? Read 2 Kings 5:9-10.

Why did Naaman feel so insulted? Read 2 Kings 5:11-12.

If Naaman had stayed angry and refused to obey Elisha, what do you think would have happened to him? Proverbs 16:18.

TOUGH TIMES TOO PROUD? HUMBLENESS

Who was Naaman? Read 2 Kings 5:1. Why did Gizmo think he was a zombie?

If an enemy army captured you and forced you to become a servant, would you want to help your master? What did the Israelite servant girl choose to do? Read 2 Kings 5:2-3.

Can you name some positive qualities that the servant girl was showing? Read Galatians 5:22-23.

What do you think the servant girl knew about the Lord? Read Psalm 103:3.

Did the king of Israel have faith in God’s power to heal? Read 2 Kings 5:6-7.

What changed Naaman’s mind about obeying Elisha’s instructions? Read 2 Kings 5:13.

At the end of the video, who do you think Joy decided should serve at the food pantry? How did her attitude change?

Until modern times, there was no cure for leprosy. Can you think of someone in the Bible who healed every disease, including leprosy? Read Luke 17:11-14.

Jesus is the Son of God; yet how did He act when He came to earth? Read Philippians 2:5-11.

How does Jesus want us to follow His example? Read Mark 10:42-45.

Can you think of some practical ways we can show God’s love to others?

Heavenly Father, help us trust You and serve You faithfully, even in hard times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank You, Jesus, for dying for our sins and

rising again to give us eternal life. Help us share

Your love by humbly serving others. Amen.

Dear God, please remind us to pray whenever we

feel upset or hurt—and fill us with Your wisdom

and patience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
