FROM THE MANAGER’S DESK

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone! The Gypsum Mills Office will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26th for the Holiday.

What a fantastic year we have had! The weather has been delightful this year. The Summer was hotter than we are used too, but it was great to stay outdoors for longer periods of time than usual.

It has been over a year and a half since Gypsum Mills was sold. We feel it has been a smooth transition from Morgan Management LLC to Horizon Land Management LLC. We are grateful that Horizon Management LLC has been so understanding & helpful.

Reminder: For handling emergencies for your home and unforeseen weather emergencies, refer to your Service Directory. Star deduction let-ters have gone out. Make the necessary changes to your December lot rent. Lease renewals will go out at the end of December, please sign them

and return to Gypsum Mills Office ASAP. Regarding snow removal, holiday refuse pick up and holiday lights, please refer to November Scoop. Roadways in Gypsum Mills: Please do not park on the streets or rake your leaves onto the roads. They must be bagged and put out on the regular refuse pickup day. During the Winter months, the Town will have your vehicles towed if they are left on the street. Large packages, should be picked up daily from the Mailbox building. With the Holidays upon us, the packages pile up if you do not remove yours from the large boxes.

Tattered American Flags: There are some that need to be replaced within the Com-munity. You can bring your discarded flag to our Office. Fred’s Flags LLC will take the discarded flags to the Boy Scouts to be retired properly.

Toys for Tots- Drop off location is at the Gypsum Mills Office, during office hours only. Until Dec. 15, 2016. The Marines love picking up our overstuffed box-es every year. They know that we have great residents that are al-ways willing to help and give to those less fortunate. Please do not forget those less fortunate pre-teens and teenagers that are all too

often overlooked.

Lamp Post Lights- Reminder Lamp Posts are for white bulbs only. If you are going show your support to the Police Department and Veterans by putting up a Blue or Green light please make sure it is on your exit door light or porch light. Thank you and we encourage your support.

If you did not pay your sewer bill to Victor/Farmington Sewer Dept. by October 31st they are now late. Any outstanding Sewer bills are turned over to Horizons’ tax bill (relevy) along with your added 20% late fee from Victor/Farmington Sewer. If you re-ceived a letter from Horizon/Gypsum Mills about your sewer not being paid, your bill has been added to your Rent Account for December 1, 2016, if this is not paid in full it will begin to accrue late fees as per your lease.

Very Truly Yours, Debra DeMars Property Manager Gypsum Mills MHC, LLC. Gypsum Mills West MHC, LLC.

Hello! We have been using coupons to purchase items to donate to some local shelters. We would love your help! If you happen to not use any of the coupons in your Sunday paper, could you please drop them off at the Community Center? It would be a great help!

I will put a box or a basket up there today and will stop to pick up a couple times a week. This is an on going project, so please, any weeks that you have cou-pons that you are not using, consider dropping them off. If you would rather me pick them up, please just let me know! Thank you!

Many thanks to Cathy Johnston, her hus-band and the members of the Bereave-ment Committee for the preparation and delicious meal they served for my husband Allen's "Celebration of Life" on Sunday, November 13. In appreciation, Joan Everdyke I would like to thank all the wonderful people in Gypsum Mills for all the support they have given me through this move I have made. I also would like to thank Char, the social committee and all that helped and all that came to the beautiful luncheon put on for me. The food was wonderful as was the beautiful flowers I received. I am enjoying the beautiful fall harvest centerpiece made for me and the candle and cards I received. I truly have met and made some wonderful friends while living in Gypsum Mills. You will not be forgotten. Thank you so very much for all the support Richard and I have re-ceived over the last 4 and half years. Al-so I would like to thank Debbie and Jessi-ca for all their help it was so much appre-ciated. See you all soon and Happy Holi-days. VICTOR HIGHWAY DEPT. WINTER

REMINDERS

With the winter season upon us, it is important that town residents remember the following rules when snow arrives:

DO NOT plow snow in the road or across it. Keep it on your property and in an area that does not obstruct your view or that of drivers on the roadway. If you hire some-one to plow for you, please be sure that they are aware of and follow these rules.

DO NOT let children play in snow-drifts near the road. It is difficult & often impossible for plow operators to see them.

REMEMBER there is NO PARKING on Town roadways from November 1st - April 1st, unless otherwise posted.
