Dear Audience,
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Northwood Drumline Com-
petition! I would like to thank every one of you for your atten-
dance at today’s event. While today’s event is branded a
competition, and while each group will indeed receive a
score and ranking, I would like to remind you that the pri-
mary purpose of today’s show is the celebrate the hard work
and dedication the students on the field have devoted to the
Art of Making Music. Knowing how much work and effort
each and every student has put into today’s performance, I
would ask that you are courteous and supportive of each
group today. Each child deserves your respectful attention
as they perform. Thank you in advance for your good sports-
manship.
Sincerely,
Jeff Johns
