Students’ views towards school based teaching materials
Feedback from S3 Student B
Difficulties we met:
• Need a lot of teaching materials as students seldom have chances to learn
about the Islamic civilisation in the past;
• Difficult to memorize Arabric vocabulary, such as Ibn Sina, Abu Bakr, Caliph
Muawiyah I, Al-Zarahwi etc;
Solutions:
• Encourage students to check vocabulary meaning and pronunciation before
starting lessons;
• Provide more readings
• Join more field trips to learn about the Islamic civilisation in our daily lives
The learning interest outweighs the difficulties we met
Feedback from S3 Students A and B Field study is an interesting way to learn outside the classroom

Ramadan and fasting

fasting in Ramadan.

Christians
