• People with fixed mindsets are often trapped in habitual beliefs about themselves. • They can’t change.

• They are too old to learn. • They have never done it that way before.

• They only allow themselves to think within the fixed mindset.

• They are often very uncomfortable about learning new things for fear of failure.

• They have a very hard time adapting to new circumstances and innovation. • They fear being challenged.

• They surround themselves with “yes men.” They discard feedback that does not fit their own view and praise feedback that affirms their own beliefs.
