Both the DUA/C-SILENT and DUCM-SILENT blades have laser welded conical segments and a new high technology steel core - which when combined offer amazing results in both vibration and noise reduction.
The new conical segment design reduces air flow around the blade in motion, a significant contributer to noise creation when cutting with a diamond blade. The new multi-layer steel core further takes tension and as a result, resonance from the blade in use: resulting in up to 12db(A) lower sound emission!
