About MercuryMercury is the closest planet to the sun, and its the smallest planet in the solar system. Mercury is 57,900,000 km away from the sun. The picture on the right of mercury was taken by messenger 2008 and transmitted back to the earth for the scientists to study.

Venus is a similar size to the earth and likes the earth its made of thick silicate and has an iron core.4Earth
