In its premiere in 2013, it supplied a powerful offering of headline bulls and females....which included the high selling bull in North America in the Speckle Park breed. With a year under their belt, the breeders have brought out a stronger, even more powerful group.

The strength of the Speckle Park breed is consumer driven. Those using Speckle Park bulls enjoy the luxury of selling and reaping profits in the specialized feeder sales each fall....with one major problem...demand is much greater than supply. The carcass and marbling qualities are incomparable to any other....Speckle Park beef is an experience in many of the finest eating establishments throughout the world. In addition to carcass value, Speckle Park offer ease of calving, feed efficiency, high maternal values and lower cowherd maintenance.

The females are the lowest risk-highest reward in the beef cattle market place. In some cases, the return from the first calf pays for the mother...demand greatly exceeds supply and who knows what the females will be worth in this rising market. Since restocking the North American cow herd is of immediate concern, top quality females will take centre stage...becoming very valuable property!

TERMS:The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATIONS:Each purebred animal will carry papers issued by the Speckle Park Association of Canada. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

HEALTH:All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

GUARANTEE:Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Specle Park Association with regards to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness.

LIABILITIES:All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. A record selling bull Uneeda Zapper 13Z was sold through this sale last year for $25,500.00. Congratulations to Wilf and Ruth Sunderland on the sale of this bull and also to Jason Goodfellow, John Herbert and Gerald Watchell for making this great investment. Uneeda Zapper 13Z had P.A.R. bloodlines though out his pedigree.

As you will see, most of the offerings in this sale are P.A.R. bloodlines throughout or P.A.R. influenced. We take great pride in developing our own genetics and are very pleased to use selective out crosses in our program to develop the cattle that will work for us, as well as others in the purebred and commercial industry.

This is a heifer we are very proud to offer. An absolute head turner of a heifer, deep bodied, great disposition and showy. You build a herd around a heifer of this quality. A half sister was a high seller at Hill Country Classic 2012 and sold to jason Goodfellow. Her grand dam 5M flushed very well into England and goes back to a Calamasue bull on the top side.

This may very well be one of the best heifers offered from P.A.R. Strong topped, deep, yet very feminine. This heifer has incredible growth for her age. A half sister sold to Dustin McAleer at last year’s Source sale. Her sire Xcalabar 6X is a son of the famous Mona Lisa 6M cow that P.A.R. has built their herd around. The Graham farm, located three miles west of Neilburg, is a four generation farm that was started in 1928. In 2006 when Max went with P.A.R. to FarmFair and Agribition to help out, he was so impressed with the cattle he was working with that he bought into the breed. We have been slowly building our purebred herd, focusing on breeding for width,length, sound legs and feet and calving ease. We use Speckle Park bulls on our commercial herd because of the great calving ease and vigor the calves have.

Throttle has raised back to back first lady champions at Western Agribition as wells as numerous show champions, even though he was never exposed to many cows because of my herd size and most of my herd was made up of his daughters. He is the smooth-est moving bull I have ever seen, with a massive dead straight top line, even as a six year old bull. We have kept numerous bulls and females off of him that are doing great things in our commercial herd. He is a very easy calving bull and all of the bulls we have kept off him to use in our commercial herd have been very easy calving also. I strongly believe he was one of the best in the world.
