Dear Compass Friends, I can’t believe that my year of being President is almost over. It has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a talented group of exceptional women. I could not have done this year’s work without a group of wonderful women ... who supported me ... and always said yes whenever I needed anything: YOUR COMPASS BOARD. They are by far the most hardworking and cooperative group with whom I have ever worked. They made my job almost effortless. There have been a few glitches (as there are every year) but we learn from those experiences and will do better next year. It has been a learning curve for me, but as I move through life, I appreciate anything that enriches my experience and helps me grow. Thank you for the opportunity to be your president. It has been a pleasure to work for something that has given me so much. As usual our Vice Presidents did an outstanding job with our May meeting. We look forward to our June meeting. Our philanthropy, the Strolling Strings, will be honored. Carol will draw names for prizes so bring your check books in June. See you there, Hildy
