New Relaxed Arrival DayOur Baseball Road Trips are full of sights, sounds and experiencesthat will fill your tour with memories for a long time. But onething we have always heard from our travelers is that it can bestressful to make it to the city where the tour begins at exactly theright time. Too early and you may have to wait at the hotel foryour room. And too late, you might miss check-in, the receptionor be late to a game! After much research, we have decided toadd a stress-free arrival day to the majority of our 2015 BaseballRoad Trips. Stress-free arrival days allow greater flexibility whenyou schedule your flights. We can have a later check-in with thetour host and if you decide to visit with your fellow travelers afterthe reception, you are free to do so. It also allows our guests tohave more leisure time in the first city on their Baseball Road Trip. Our continued pursuit of the perfect baseball trip drives us toincorporate feedback from you, our valued customer. If you haveany thoughts on ways to improve trips, just let us know.

We are very excited about a new partnership that we featuredon two of our Baseball Road Trips last season. PhotoVision isan innovative company with a great crowd-sourcing app. ThePhotoVision App is used by people who take pictures withtheir smartphones on our road trips. It is an easy way to sharetheir photos with us and everyone else on the trip. A uniqueusername and password is shared so only those attending theevent can include their pictures. After the event, a storytellingvideo will be made for you using all the pictures that havebeen shared. You and your guests can watch it convenientlyright on your phone, tablet, or computer.

We have been given tremendous feedback on the app and DVDsreceived by all participants and will feature this program on selectBaseball Road Trips in 2015. Don’t forget your camera phone!

Dynamic PricingThe big league teams have finally figured out a way to chargemore money for games that are higher in demand. It’s calledDynamic Pricing and the way it works is based on the schedule. The criteria is the visiting team, month, the day of the week, and time of the game. For an example, we had two games thispast summer with the LA Dodgers playing the St. LouisCardinals in St. Louis. The first game was a Saturday afternoongame at 3:05 (prime time) and the second game was Sunday at7:05 (an ESPN game). The Saturday ticket was $79. The samelocation seat for the Sunday game was $39. The concept is nowtaking hold with most MLB teams. This has driven the prices upfurther especially if you travel during prime dates, which includetop teams. Keep an eye on ticket prices at your favorite ballpark.
