In his house he had a lab where he made new drugs..
But there was one drug he made that was just for him.
Dr. Jekyll wanted to split his good side from his evil side.
His friend, Dr. Lanyon, laughed at him and said that it could not be done.
He was smaller and younger. His hair was long. His eyes were small and mean. His nose was flat. His teeth were sharp and crooked. This was Dr. Jekyll’s evil side and he
named him, Mr. Hyde.
He drank his magic drugand turned back intothe good Dr. Jekyll.
When Dr. Jekyll drank the magic drug, he turned into the evil Mr. Hyde. Thenhe did bad things.
The more Dr. Jekyll drank the magic drug, the stronger Mr. Hyde became and the weaker Dr. Jekyll became.
One day Dr. Jekyll turned into Mr. Hyde but he did not drink the magic drug.
Dr. Jekyll never left his lab anymore.
He had to take more and more of the magic drug to turn back into Dr. Jekyll.
