Designed to be seen

Sometimes it doesn’t take long for a strong

character to reveal itself. With the T-Roc,

all it takes is one glance. The front design with

its fog lights and static cornering light,

with an optional LED ring-style design, exudes

self-confidence. In the T-Roc Design,

Sport and R-line, the roof and exterior mirror

covers are available in black and provide an

impressive contrast to the body paintwork.

01 Sporty and expressive throughout: the dynamic

design of the tail light clusters ensures the T-Roc

makes a striking impression from the rear as well. In

the Sport and R-line, the rear lights come in dark red,

further enhancing its confident appearance. The tail

light clusters are equipped with long-lasting, energy-

saving LED lights to guarantee good visibility during

the day and at night.

The T-Roc always turns heads. One of its stand-out design elements is the unique C-pillar: a

chrome gloss strip that emphasises the vehicle’s coupé-esque, elongated roof. With the

T-Roc Design and the optional Design Pack, you can make sure you get even more admiring

exterior mirror covers to make sure your T-Roc Design really stands out.

01 Interior. The interior in the T-Roc Sport, with the optional Sport Pack is both

sporty and elegant with a black headlining, dash pad and decorative door trims in

'Caribou Grey', Titanium Black door panels and red ambient lighting. This creates a

pleasant ambience while also making it easier to find your way around in the dark.

The deluxe sports seats for the driver and front passenger with ‘Gem’ seat

upholstery in Titanium Black/Ceramique and red contrasting stitching provide

good side support. Meanwhile, the aluminium pedals as part of the Sport Pack

lend the vehicle a motorsport look.

01-03 Decide for yourself which colour you want for

the design panel on the dash pad: 'Black Oak Brown',

'Ravenna Blue', 'Energetic Orange' or 'Turmeric

Yellow' as part of the optionally available Design

Pack. You’ll also find your favourite colour on the side

decorative trim and the trim in the centre console. To

complement this look, parts of the centre seat panels

come in your chosen colour, providing an exciting

contrast.

04 The comfortable deluxe seats with optional

special two-tone ‘Tracks 4’ upholstery and 'Turmeric

Yellow' stitching as part of the Design Pack. The

optional Design Pack for the T-Roc Design features

white ambient lighting with illuminated decorative

trim, reading lights in the front and rear, and footwell

lighting to create a unique atmosphere while driving

at night.

01 ‘Discover Media’ navigation system. The optional

‘Discover Media’ navigation function comes with an

8-inch colour touchscreen display. It also boasts six

loudspeakers, FM radio that can also play music in

MP3, AAC and WMA formats, two SD card slots, a USB

port and a Bluetooth connection1 for mobile phones.

Optional on Sport and R-line.

02 Composition Colour. The ‘Composition Colour’

radio system is equipped with a 6.5-inch colour

touchscreen, SD card reader and USB connection. It

also features Bluetooth connectivity1, title and

compatible cover art display and facilitates music

playback from MP3, WMA and AAC files through two

speakers front and rear. Car information display

provides journey analysis and driver tips for more fuel

efficient driving. Standard on T-Roc.

01 ‘App-Connect’. ‘App-Connect’2 allows your T-Roc

to connect with current Apple and Android

smartphones through three innovative technologies:

Apple ‘CarPlay’, Google ‘Android Auto’ and

‘MirrorLink’™. This enables you to ‘mirror’ your

smartphone’s most important functions, such as

phone contacts, receiving and sending texts and

music on the touchscreen of your infotainment

system, and if you choose, you can even operate the

system by voice control, allowing you to manage

them simply and safely during your journey. Please

note, only certified apps may be used while driving.

Standard on Design, Sport and R-Line models.

02 We Connect ‘Guide and Inform’. We Connect

‘Guide and Inform’ gives you online access to a wide

range of useful information, such as; weather,

exciting destinations in your surrounding area, nearby

parking spaces or the next filling station. We Connect

‘Guide and Inform’3 is standard on the optional

’Discover Media’ touchscreen navigation.

03 We Connect ‘Security & Service’. ‘Security &

Service’ features functions that will make your

journey even safer. The We Connect Service package

offers you mobile access to important vehicle

functions and combines security with transparency

for even more comfort. A reassuring feature of

‘Security & Service’ is the Emergency Call Service. In

emergency situations, your vehicle calls for help

automatically or you can press a button to do so. If

your Volkswagen detects an accident, the Service

connects to the Volkswagen Emergency Call Centre

and passes on key information. The Emergency call

Centre will deploy the emergency services. Standard

on Sport and R-line models.

04 Wireless Smartphone Charging. The wireless

smartphone charger allows charging without the use

of cables. The storage compartment in the front

centre console contains a wireless charging pad that

you place your phone on top of to charge. The

advantage of wireless charging is that it’s quicker and

easier, as you don’t have to plug and unplug each

time and it also looks neater without any trailing

cables. Non-Qi-compatible smartphones can be

retrofitted with a cover or wireless charging module

to allow operation, Optional on Design, Sport and

R-Line.

03 Composition Media. The ‘Composition Media’

radio system is equipped with a glass-covered 8-inch

colour touchscreen, Multi Device Interface (MDI), 6

speakers, SD card reader and USB connection. It

allows music playback from MP3, WMA and AAC files,

simultaneous pairing of two compatible mobile

devices1, SMS functionality, Bluetooth telephone and

audio functionality, and provides driver tips and

journey analysis via the 'Think Blue' Trainer'. Standard

on Design, Sport and R-Line models.

Infotainment ConnectivityMultimedia to inspire. With the optional Active Info Display and

‘Discover Media’ navigation function, you will arrive at your destination

stress-free and fully entertained.

Active Info Display. The Active Info Display provides a

system that can be tailored to suit your exact

preferences. The fully configurable, interactive 10.25

inch display replaces the standard analogue

instrument cluster, displaying vehicle data and

information on your dashboard. Five different modes

allow you to customise the screen, with large or small

dials as you prefer and a number of items displayed

behind. When used in navigation mode in conjunction

with the optional ‘Discover Media’ Navigation system,

you can move the speedometer and rev counter to

the edge of the display, creating more space for the

navigational map. If you wish, you are able to include

driving, navigation and assistance functions within

the graphics of the speedometer. As the Active Info

Display is linked to all other assistance systems in the

vehicle, any data shown in the centre console of the

infotainment system, such as phone numbers or your

music’s compatible cover art, can also be displayed

on the dash conveniently placed directly within the

driver’s optimum field of vision. Standard on Sport

and R-line models. Optional on Design.

01 Adaptive Cruise Control and Speed Limiter.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), including ‘Front Assist’,

‘City Emergency Brake’, Cruise Control and Speed

Limiter, offers you intelligent control of your driving

speed by automatically adjusting acceleration and

braking. Whether around town or on the motorway,

the system will adjust your speed to that of the

vehicle in front, keep your specified distance, warn if

you are approaching too fast and in an emergency

situation, generate enough braking force to try to

reduce the severity of a collision or possibly even

prevent the collision entirely. Standard on Design,

Sport and R-Line models.

02 Lane Assist. Long car journeys can take a lot of

concentration from the driver. Luckily, the T-Roc is

equipped with the lane departure warning ‘Lane

Assist’ as standard. This system can help to avoid

accidents. As far as is feasible, the system detects

road markings by means of a camera and corrects

your steering if you start to leave your lane.

03 Forward collision warning ‘Front Assist’ with

pedestrian recognition warning. You can make

driving more relaxed with the standard ‘Front Assist’

area monitoring system including a ‘Pedestrian

Monitoring’ function. When a critical situation is

detected within the limits of the system, ‘Front

Assist’ issues a warning for the driver. If the danger is

not averted, the system automatically initiates

braking. This also increases protection for

pedestrians who suddenly step out into the vehicle’s

path.

04 Park Distance Control. The optional Park Distance

Control simplifies parking in difficult parking spaces.

Within the limits of the system, it uses acoustic

signals and a graphic display to warn you of obstacles

in your path. Optional on T-Roc and standard on

Design, Sport and R-Line.

Fuel Consumption l/100km (max. - min): 6.9 - 5.2.

C02 emissions g/km (max. - min.) 157 - 132. Increased

weight of a vehicle, including higher trim levels and

the addition of options may have an effect on the fuel

consumption and CO2 emissions produced. The CO2

and fuel consumption figures are the official figures

obtained from tests under standardised EU test

conditions.

The specified fuel consumption and emission values are the official

figures obtained from tests under standardised EU test conditions

in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test

Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test method for measuring fuel

consumption (l/100km) and CO₂ emissions and are correct at the time

of print. WLTP replaces the previous NEDC test method. The

WLTP Min. values refer to the minimum values of the standard entry

version excluding additional equipment such as optional extras

and accessories which may have an effect on the fuel consumption

(l/100km) and CO₂ emissions produced. The WLTP Max. values

The Volkswagen Warranty

Three-year manufacturer’s warranty*

All T-Roc models come with a three-year warranty

which protects your car against the failure of most

mechanical and electrical components due to

manufacturing defects. Your vehicle should be

serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s

specifications. Any damage to or defect in the vehicle

caused by poor or insufficient servicing will not be

remedied under the vehicle’s warranty. Full details of

the three-year warranty are available from your

authorised Volkswagen retailer or at Volkswagen.ie

* The first two years have an unlimited mileage

warranty. The third year warranty has a limitation

of 90,000km.

Three-year Paint Warranty

The paintwork of the T-Roc is covered against

manufacturing defects for a period of three years.

Naturally, the T-Roc must be cared for in compliance

with the operating instructions which will be found in

your vehicle handbook. Please consult your

Volkswagen retailer for full warranty details.

12-year Body Protection Warranty

The internal body sections and panels of the T-Roc

are covered against rusting through from the inside

for 12 years. Naturally, the T-Roc must be cared for in

compliance with the operating instructions. Please

Service Intervals for Engines

Full details of what checks and work are

recommended at each service are contained in the

Service Book and your retailer will be able to advise

you of any particular requirements.
