I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the international prayer breakfast last week. As ever the food to the speakers, was superb. More importantly, however, was the spiritual grounding that it provided. To be reminded through the prayer of the PR of Palau that in all that we do, we are subservient to a sovereign lord was incredaudience gathered were the official representatives of the nations if the world. The goals of the United Nations are important and the job is
immense. It is impossible to succeed if you don’t pray. These were
the thoughts that Dr. Luis Palau communicated to more than 200
people present at this year’s International Prayer Breakfast. A
person is body, soul, and spirit, Palau continued. The United
Nations can deal with the body and with the soul. But only God
can deal with the spirit.
