ROOM HIRETHE COMMUNITY ROOMThe Community Room is a light and airy L-shaped room, with large floor length windows overlooking the idyllic and tranquil water of the canal, creating a very calming atmosphere. The space is flexible and easily converted for different uses and events.

• Maximum capacity: 90• Fully wheelchair accessible • Room hire prices vary according to use• Optional extras are available. Technical equipment such as a pro-jector, backline instruments (piano, guitar amps, microphones, monitors etc.)

Over the years, the space has been used for a wide range of events: • Children’s parties• Health classes• Exhibitions• Art classes• Meetings• Conferences• Castings• Play rehearsals

Please note that it is possible to hire out the venue at the same time as the community room should you require more space.

THE REHEARSAL ROOMAlong side the community space we have a rehearsal room which is proving to be very popular with local bands. When you hire the rehearsal room you get use of:

• 1 x Behringer PA• 2 x all valve 50/100 watt guitar amps (FENDER)• 1 x 200 watt bass combo• 1 x 5 piece Mapex Drum kit (Breakables for hire £1 p/h)• 2 x Shure SM58 microphone (more available on request)

Room hire is priced at £10 an hour plus optional extras such as drum breakables (£1 an hour) and use of our snare drum (£1 an hour)

The Tin at the Coal Vaults is situated in Coventry’s Canal Basin, with easy access from the ring road and just a five minute walk away from the city centre. Coventry has good transport links in and out of the city, with the bus station (Pool Meadow) only half a mile away and Coventry Train Station just 1 mile away from The Tin.

Parking• Free Canal Basin car park situated above The Coal Vaults• On-street parking all around the basin (free after 6pm)• Large car park on Leicester Row, as you exit off Foleshill Rd (50p after 6pm)
