HUDSON GRANTS
Grant Title Author Brief Description VisionAir, Land, and Space - A New Learning Frontier
Burleson and science teachers
We here at Trinity Springs MS yearn to remove the boundaries which classroom and laboratory walls can place on all students preventing the great expanses of science from being fully explored. To this end we need three things: Air, Land, and Space.
AMPED Lab (Automation, Manufacturing, Programming, & Electrical Design)
Quattlebaum Learners involved in the AMPED Lab will gain a deeper understanding of circuit design, hardware function, and programming. Using a hands-on approach to solving real world design and programming problems, students will design and build electrical systems that use multiple inputs and outputs to interact with their environment.
Each employee can vote one time, casting two votes for projects in the "General Category" and one vote for projects in the "Principal Category." Votes will be accepted through Sunday, May 3.

Mini Transformation

New Lighting System for TSMS
Coyne At Trinity Springs Middle School, we have a lighting system that is mediocre. The little amount of lighting instruments include parcans only, and we are unable to add in gels to make the lighting colorful. Also, the lighting instruments that are used are unable to make certain effects on stage that will affect the audience's visibility of the actors in a positive way.

Referral Testing with iPads
Meadows
The new test kits that are coming out give us the option to test student for special education eligibility using iPads rather than paper/pencil tests. This would help us ensure that testing is correct and eliminates human error in scoring and administering the test.
Transforming Titans through Connected Learning: Crossing Borders with Digital Literature and Inquiry Circles
Slay This project will connect students at Trinity Springs with each other across the campus, and with students in other places around the world through digital literature and inquiry discussion groups. It will use iPads-minis to facilitate electronic research, reading, and writing across borders using various apps, including Google Drive and Kindle, for example.
