STAFF'S APPRECIATION
Before we began on our annual, we had to have help.
This help was rendered by workers, advisers, contributors,
and backers. The workers were the students on the annual
staff, who sacrificed their time and gave their services
wholeheartedly. Our adviser ( etaff ) , Mrs. Thomas, who
exerted a lot of energy =nd put forth a lot of effort, to
make sure the Year book would be a success. The Class of
"49" wishes to thank these per6ons,<especially : Mrs.Biake-
ly, Miss McNeill, Mrs. Ruth K. Games, Mrs. W.A. Pattillo,
Mrs. E.O. Jones, Mrs. Woodley and our Drincitoi Mr. W. H.
Pattillo.
The Contributors, were the alumni, who presented us
wi.th contributions in the form of money to aid U6 in our
place. Our backers, were the business concerns, that gave
us advertisements, which made it possible for us to oublish
our Year book. To these helpers, we wish to extend our ap-
preciation and sincere thank6. For these persons, are the
ones, that made it possible for us, to publish tie first
annual, in the history of the school.
