The Carol ina High School Food Pantry was opened severa l years

ago as a way for Trojans to take care of other Trojans . I t s purpose

i s to ensure that no students or the ir fami l ies go hungry.

Ear l ier thi s month, students part ic ipated in a school -wide food dr ive

to he lp re-stock the she lves of the pantry . I t was a great success

and we col lected over 170 i tems. Mrs. Kin law’s 3rd period c lass

col lected the most and wi l l receive a p izza party . Mrs . Jones c lass

donated the second most , and they each received a t icket to

Carol ina vs . Berea basketbal l game. The Carol ina High School Food

Pantry has a l so rece ived donat ions f rom loca l community members

and the Univers i ty of South Carol ina School of Medic ine –

Greenvi l le . Students are st i l l encouraged to br ing in canned food

i tems.

Bobbi Kristina outraged over Whitney Houston movie!

Bobbi Kristina (Whitney Houston’s daughter) is a 21 year old American singer / actress, and

she was born on March 4, 1993. She recently wanted to play her mother in the upcoming

movie about her mother’s life. The director of the movie is Angela Bassett, and she is also a

singer / actress. The two just recently had a feud with each other because Angela is not al-

lowing Bobbi Kristina to play the starring role. Bobbi Kristian was so outraged about the situation

that she went on twitter and started blasting the movie director. Angela Bassett told Entertain-

ment Weekly that she is not casting her for numerous of reasons. Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law,

Patricia said that “Whitney is worth more than this and this wouldn’t be happening if she was still

here.” Her mother, Cissy Houston also spoke on it and said “No one connected with this movie

knew Whitney or anything about her relationship with Bobby (Brown). Please let her rest."

Charles Manson gets Marriage License

Charles Manson, the American serial killer, cult

leader, as well as musician has been in prison for

quite a while. He has tried for parole many times

but has always been denied. He will not be

eligable for parole until 2027. He started the

Manson Family, which at first was just a cult

who did cult things like orgies and what not,

then it got serious. There were seven murders,

all in the same house of the late Sharon Tate,

who was 8 months pregnant at the time. The

majority of Manson’s followers are still behind

bars. (Susan Atkins died from cancer behind bars.) Manson plans to

marry a 26-year old. The date for the wedding has not been set yet.

It is confirmed that the couple can invite 10 people who are not

inmates. Manson and his Fiancee have until early February to get

married before they would have to reapply.

Onika Tanya Maraj, most

known as Nicki Minaj, was

born on December 8 of 1982

in Saint James Trinidad and

Tobago and she was raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Minaj received public notice after releasing three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009. She

signed a recording contract withYoung Money Entertainment in 2009. Minaj's

debut studio album, Pink, in 2010, peaked at number one on the

U.S.Billboard 200 and spawned the top three single "Super Bass". During that

time, Minaj became the first female solo artist to

have seven singles simultaneously charting on the

U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Minaj was the first female

artist included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List,

with The New York Times saying that some

consider her "the most influential female rapper

of all time".

Gunsport, a 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 com-

petitive eSport that combines a cyberpunk image and

the famous game of volleyball has now come to PS4.

The News at Nintendo:

Sonic Boom is now on the 3DS and WiiU! Work together

Exactly What Going on at Xbox:

The shining star of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection

is Halo 2: Anniversary. The game’s entire soundtrack has

been redone. The music team has recreated the iconic music

note by note and spent more than two months transcribing

the score, listening to songs, and writing notes by hand.

Another three months went into re-orchestrating the entire

score. Using the Skywalker Symphony, 343 Industries has

created a beautiful masterpiece.

Peter Kassig was beheaded by ISIS terrorists, the

White House confirmed Sunday, hours after a vid-

eo claiming to show the victim surfaced online.

Kassig is the fifth Westerner whom ISIS claims to

have beheaded via video messages. The first was

U.S. journalist James Foley. A video of his killing

was posted online in mid-August, just over a week

after Obama approved "targeted airstrikes" against

ISIS.

South Korea South Korean scientists believe the extinct

'Mammoths' can be brought back to life using the

DNA of an extremely well preserved mammoth

found in the Siberian snow. Insung Hwang, a

geneticist at Sooam, the South Korean biotech

company working on the project, said this week

his team think it is an achievable goal, using the

fresh blood samples they have recovered. Howev-

er, many in the science community oppose the

idea of bringing an extinct species back to life.

Jean Rene Lacoste was born on July 2, 1904, in Paris, France. He was a world champion tennis player.

He came to tennis a little late in life. He was only 15 when he first started. Lacoste had been set to

enroll at a prestigious French engineering school when he decided he wanted to make a go of it as a tennis player. His understanding father gave

him five years to make it happen. Within three, Lacoste had molded himself into one of the game's finest players. During his tennis life he earned

his nickname “The Crocodile ”. As a player, Lacoste went against traditional on-court fashion, opting to compete in short-sleeved knit shirts rather

than dress shirts. Lacoste formed a small company soon after leaving the game to manufacture the apparel. By 1950, Lacoste's shirts, with its

signature crocodile emblem on the left breast, entered the U.S. market. it wasn't until the 1980s that demand exploded as the Lacoste name and

symbol became synonymous with high status. In 1982, sales peaked at $450 million. In the last years of his life he suffered from prostate cancer

and died in his sleep from heart failure just four days after the surgery on his leg, on October 14, 1996, in St. Jean-de-Luz, France.

It’s the Law! Waynesboro, Virginia: It is illegal for a woman to drive a car up

It seems that some of the men in town got tired of the female inability to

operate a motor vehicle (something that's a generally known fact), and

decided that if they couldn't prohibit women from driving a car, the least

they could do is warn everyone that they were coming; presumably to

give them a chance to get out of the way, lest they be killed or maimed.

Blue Angelfish

Blue Angelfish need a large aquarium of at least 250 gallons of water. Blue Angels

need lots of hiding places in the tank. You will need to do research yourself for this.

You can only have one Angel in the tank due to aggression to other Angels. Angels

are not good reef dwellers. The Angel males and females have different markings

and colors. Angels eat marine algae, frozen shrimp, live rock for grazing, and some other things. There is a

queen Angel that is bigger than other Angels. Angels care level is moderate.

The Babadook

Six years after the violent death of her husband, Amelia (Essie Davis) is at a loss. She struggles to discipline her ‘out of control’ 6 year-old, Samuel (Noah Wiseman), a son she finds impossible to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called ‘The Babadook’ turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about. His hallucinations spiral out of control, he becomes more unpredictable and violent. Amelia, genuinely frightened by her son’s behavior, is forced to medicate him. But when Amelia begins to see glimpses of a sinister presence all around her, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may be real.
