• New generation diesel engine de-rated to lower RPM optimized hull form for larger propeller diameter whichmeans better propulsion efficiency.• Full computerized hull optimization by HSVA Germany.

• Large unobstructed tank top areaoptimizing break bulk cargo capability.

• Wide hatches in conjunction withabsence of hoppers and lower bulkheadstools facilitate optimal cargo spottingand stowage.

• Cranes prepared for grab operations.

• Safe grab loading and discharge.

• Complete flush cargo hold facilitatequick and efficient hold cleaning

• Fixed cargo hold lighting

WATER BALLAST• Water ballast is arranged in the doubleskin. Sufficient capacity to avoid waterballast in hold 3 in most weatherconditions.

• Water ballast can be loaded cargo hold3 in case of extreme weather or in orderto reduce air draft during loading.

• Slamming strengthening of bottomforward is based on light ballastcondition.

• Ballast pump capacity of 2x750 m3/hto ensure fast ballast water operation.

• Ballast pipes and valves are arranged indouble bottom pipe duct.

WATER BALLAST EXCHANGE

-Side tanks seperated fromdouble bottom tanksfacilitating safe and effectiveballast water exchange.

-Flow through water ballastexchange feasible for allwater ballast tanks and cargohold 3.

ACCESS FORINSPECTION

- The complete doublehull configurationprovides easy andpermanent access forinspection.

- Access arrangementsfulfill latest IMOrequirements forpermanent means ofaccess for close upsurvey.

PROTECTIVE TRUNKS- Service piping (fire main, hydraulic and compressedair) and electrical cablesare arranged in two sidepipe tunnels and toprotect against cargo andweather damage.

- The side pipe tunnelsserve as a safe protectedaccess fromaccommodation aft toforedecks under severeweather conditions.

- Ballast and bilge pipingand valves are arranged indouble bottom pipetunnel to reducemaintenance and toenable acces and repairwhen the vessel is inoperation.
