Leonardo da Vinci said, “Realize that everything connects to everything else.” The Christian’s main role is to stay connected to God and help others connect as we have opportunity.

“Connect” is one of our three critical initiatives. Our Connect Seminar is designed to empower and inspire our church family to make outreach a natural part of everyday living. We highly value David Duncan’s broad experience. We appreciate him sharing a workable plan to equip all members to see personal opportunities, act upon them, and then lead to evangelism.

Consider Mothers’ Day as an example of a great opportunity to connect. Yes, it is by some accounts, the day most outsiders are willing to attend church. Here are a few things to think about.

• Mothers, invite your children and express what a blessing it would be to have them come home and be with you at church.

• Invite all those who are moms in your extended family and live in this area to attend worship with you.

• Church family, let us welcome everyone and share a smile.

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Colossians 4:5
