SECTION 4

We are going through an unusually difficult time. So much contradictory information. We are all trying to balance our daily routines. Getting outside can be uplifting. Take a walk, do some yard work

(The broadleaf weeds seem to have reached the pandemic stage on Section 4 lawns). It is amazing how much a little exercise cam boost morale. Many of my neighbors that I have spoken to over the phone say they are gaining weight. Sitting around eating comfort food and watching TV can catch up with you in no time. This can be an opportune time to catch up on those projects that you haven't had time for in the past.

We are all hopeful that a medication is identi-fied and/or a vaccine is developed soon. In the mean time hunker down and be careful.

Your Section 4 Board

SECTION 6 THE LAKES

Hi everyone from Millpond, hope we are all doing great

and are in good health, and doing what we are told to do to

keep the big bad corona virus away from all of us, we are

doing our best to sit six feet apart from each other at the

pool, so good job friends. Hope we all like the new umbrel-

las at the pool they are so easy to open and close now,

Thanks board members good choice.

Well it looks like the fobs are working great and we got

them done just in the nick of time so people who don't be-

long here cannot get in. Our warm weather looks like it's

already here but we could still use a little rain.

Even though we could not celebrate Easter

together we could watch the MASS, on our tele-

vision which was a blessing.

PLEASE take care ,and if you can wear your mask to go to the grocery store or drug store. Everyone please stay in

good health and Pray this virus leaves us Mary Gabe Lolly Margaret Carol your board

May ~ Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Memorial Day!

Good Day Everyone! Due to the current virus situation our upcoming events are still on hold. We are hoping to still have our Memorial Day event on May 25th, watch the Facebook page and signs in the community for updates. The next event would be the 4th of July BBQ, we will have more information on that event in the June newsletter. I have been in touch with John Timpanelli and he is anxious to schedule more events in the fall. We all are certainly looking forward to that. Stay tuned for up-dates! Hope everyone is staying safe. Stan Kowal Social Chair

Other John Timpanelli shows: July and August taking off. Hopefully we can start back in September and con-tinue with the fall shows and then continue in 2021. This depends on what is going on with the Covid-19 virus. The format will be the same. FOR EVERYONE’S INFORMATION: Most of the events at Millpond Estates require buying a ticket or signing up in the White Book by a certain date, that is because we have a deadline which we either have to buy the food or let a caterer know the # of people attending. We ask that everyone please be remindful of that deadline date and try to buy your ticket or sign up before that date. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! The next Social Committee meeting will be on June 10th, Wednesday at 6:30pm. There will be no meeting in May. Susan Gabriel, Administrative Assistant

SECTION 6-A-Millpond Lake Villas Section 6A Happy May Everyone! I hope everyone is adjusting to our “new normal” as we wait for the pandemic to ease. It is nice to see so many of our neighbors out walking and enjoying the pool. Thank you to Section 6 for keeping the pool open for us to enjoy. It’s baby bird season and we are seeing signs of new life around the pond. We have had many ducklings and the Bluebirds are nesting in our nest boxes! Ellen McClellan has already had a family of Bluebirds in her box and I am anxiously waiting for the eggs in my box to hatch! Most of our local eagles have successfully raised their eaglets for the season and will soon be heading north on their sum-

mer migration. Take care of yourselves and stay well. See you around the neighborhood! Kim Rexroat

Hello Neighbors!

On April 1, 2020 Governor Ron DeSantis signed Executive Order 20-91 outlining a stay-at-home policy for Floridians due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This Order took effect on Friday, April 3 at 12:01 a.m. and will last until Thursday, April 30th unless it is extended for a longer duration. Please practice social distancing and self-isolating as there are some members in our community who are immunodeficiency.

Masks do help. If you are not able to find them in stores or do not want to drive around risking exposure

to this novel Coronavirus you can order them on Amazon.com or find some on EBay.com

If you prefer to shop for groceries and have it delivered to your home for a small fee, Aldi and Publix of-fer food delivery via Instacart. Go to their website and look under "delivery." You will have to sign up for an ac-count then choose your items online. Some may be in limited supply or sold out but it is an option for those who want to pay for the convenience of having groceries delivered to their home. If you use delivery service please make sure to tip the delivery driver well.

Please keep your distance from others when walking, biking, or running in the Millpond Community. The Life you save may be your own.

Stay safe out there. Until next time, if you have any questions or concerns about Millpond Section 7,

please contact our property management company Parklane Real Estate Services LLC, directly at (727) 232-1173.

The View – From Section Three

The Corona crisis that which cancelled all our events in the month of April is likely to be with us for some time to come. Check in with the office for fur-ther updates on reopening the clubhouse and pool. Though the office of First Choice Management is closed during this time they will continue to answer questions by phone at 727-785-8887 or email [email protected]

I have noticed that during this exceptionally dry season with more people running their irrigation to keep the lawns green that some of you who have not used these in a while may not realize the water that is being lost due to broken sprinkler heads. I used to install and repair these systems and my advice is to check them regularly by manually running through the zones and checking to see if every sprinkler head is working. This will not only keep your lawns a lot greener but it might also save you a lot of money when your water bill comes.

Finally I wanted to say a big thank for neigh-bors who have checked in on us, given us masks and just stopped to socialize from a safe distance. It does get lonely being in the house so much. You would be amazed at how a kind word or a smile can give some-one hope. We recently lost a dear friend back in Penn-sylvania though whether her pneumonia was Covid-19 related or not we don’t know. What we do realize is that people’s struggles are real and we can each play a part in helping and supporting someone. Maybe that someone lives right next door to you.

Hope is a wonderful gift from God, a source of strength and courage in the face of life’s harshest tri-als. - Charles Swindoll

SECTION 5 We hope that everyone is doing well during the Virus restrictions. This is a time to thank all of our Nurses, doctors, first responders, teachers, store clerks, repair people—everyone who is keeping our community going while we practice social distancing. We send best wishes to all Moth-ers, Grandmothers, Aunts, Cousins—anyone who has been a “Mom” in a child’s life. Happy Mother’s Day! We also express our gratitude to all of our military who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, and thank all the men and women in uniform who are helping during the Pandemic. Many Section 5ers have used the “Stay At Home” restrictions to paint, plant, pressure-wash, and make the best of a challenging situation: Glenda Ramirez has made over 200 masks. The group of women she is working with has delivered aprox.8,000 masks to Hospice, St Joe's, Pasco sheriff's depart-ment, Doctors’ offices, and neighbors. and the need goes on. There is a very big demand and the ladies are doing this at no charge, using their own materials and time. Kristin Parmenter was preparing for the Rock ‘n Roll D.C. Marathon (her fifth marathon!) when she was notified that it was cancelled. Nobody stops a Pasco County Teacher! She decided to create her own Marathon—and the “Coronavirus Social Distance Classic” was born. On March 28, Kristin burst through a toilet paper finish line at 10:43 am to claim victory. She was cheered on during the 26.2 mile route by family members and neighbors. Congratulations Kristin! Carol Holland has found a new interest—gardening. Her backyard is filled with flowering plants and she is raising vegetables from seeds. Megan and Roger Huseland did something probably no other Millponder did during this time—they had a baby! On March 27, Miss Callie Huseland, 6 lbs. 15oz., was born. She made James Luke a Big Brother. We wish them all hap-piness and good health. If you or a neighbor did something special or differ-ent during this time, please let us know so we can put it in the next VOICE. Regular Inspections and Architectural Meetings will resume when we are told that it is safe to have meetings. Notices are always posted in the Clubhouse, on the SECTION bulletin board. We also want to remind you about public safety. If you hear loud shouts or screaming, or observe other suspi-cious or troubling activity, call 911. For noise complaints call the Pasco Sheriff Administrative phone number:727-847-8102. Contact information for appointment requests to review and inspect Section 5 Documents and to report Deed Restriction Violations are as follows: Danuta Dzikowska, Manager, First Choice Association Mgmt. Inc. 4174 Woodlands Parkway Palm Harbor, Florida 34685, (727) 785-8887, [email protected]. First Choice is our agent and they have ALL of our official records. Individual Board members do not keep official records. There is a practical business reason for this: Section 5 Board members are all volunteers who serve without com-pensation. If a document is needed to conduct Section 5 business, it is available during routine business hours at First Choice. If a Board member is out of town, hospitalized, or unavailable, Section 5 business gets done. It is NOT dependent on the health or pres-ence of a particular Board Member. All Section 5 Documents, In-cluding Architectural Permits, are online at mill-pondestateshoa.com. By: Kathy Logue

SECTION TWO

Hello to all in section 2!

It certainly has been a different April we all experi-enced due to the Coronavirus. Time slowed down, families stayed home and we cooked! Thanks to all the medical personnel and essential workers who faced the virus day after day. Bless you! Now it is May, time to celebrate Mom! Happy Moth-er’s Day to all the Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters and Aunts. May we all be blessed with happiness and fond memories. Also, Memorial Day at the end of the month when we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thanks to all the former and current Military personnel for your service to our country. As always, watch over your neighbors, if you see something not right report it. If you have something you wish to be mentioned in the newsletter, please contact Cheryl Cronin or Judy Stevens. Until next month, stay safe and happy trails to you all.

MILLPOND TRACE

HI NEIGHBORS! Covid 19 is still here and it looks like it will be a while before it is gone. I hope all of us in Trace remain healthy, I pray everyone is fol-lowing the guidelines that have been set up for us. They are not laws, but instructions basical-ly telling us how to stay safe! I see these fools on TV holding signs that say set us free, no one is holding you prisoner. This is the way we can avoid getting sick and I for one am all for it! I miss my family, my friends, simple things like going to Publix or Bealls. Or even going out for lunch or dinner. But it is only temporary! We will be back to nor-mal if everyone cooperates! Not much going on in the *hood,* no meet-ings were held, but the Board is still working to maintain the upkeep of Millpond Trace. If you have a problem with your Condo please call Coastal Management at 727 859 9734. It will be taken care of as quickly as possible. Our maintenance man Bert, comes in on Thurs-days, we always have a list of things for him to do. Remember to check on your neighbors, they might need your help but are hesitant to ask for it. Stay home, stay safe and stay healthy, Please!!!

Ciao for now! JoAnne Boyle-Fisher
