Covid-19andtheCoronaviruspandemicputastoptoourjoiningtogetherinpersonforconventionbutitcan’tstopour“meetings”witheachother!
Acrossthestate,clubsresortedtogroupphonecalls,Zoomonlinemeetings,andgroupFacebookpoststocommunicateandholdnewOfficerInstallations.
Manyhaveusedemailforconversing,expressingcaringthoughts,andevensharingamealofpizza!Our2020-2022stateofficerswereelectedviaballotssentoutbyemailandregularmailandvotescollectedbyemail,regularmail,andphonecalls.
Howeverithappened,clubwomanstillfoundwaystobetogetherandsupporteachotherwhileconfinedtotheirhomespaces!
Spring Convention & Installation 2020 … at least how it happened!
Reaching forRAINBOWS Firstofall,IwouldliketothankallofyoufantasticGFWC-WSmembersforgivingmethehonortoserveasyour2020-2022GFWC-WSPresident.Ilookforwardtoyourcontinuedsupportforthenexttwoyears,partsofwhichmayholdsomechallengesaswemovetoanewnormal.IwouldliketoaddmythankstoNorthcentralDistrictforplanningwhatwouldhavebeenanoutstandingConvention.AndalsotomyownNortheasternDistrictforalltheplanningtheydidfortheinstallationthatneverhappened.Thesearetrulychallengingtimesandallyourhardworkhasnotgoneunnoticedbyme!
ThankyouBettyMacmasterforhavingachievedaverysuccessfultwoyears.UnfortunatelyCovid-19robbedyouofthelastfewmonthsofyouradministrationandyourlastconvention.However,yourleadershiphelpedusgetthroughandweareabletostartanewadministration.Besides,notsureifallofuswearingmasks,glovesandsocialdistancingatinstallationwouldhaveworked.
MyPresident’sSpecialProjectis“TEDDYBEARS&HANDBAGS.”Wewillbedoingteddybearsthisfirstyearandhandbagsoursecondyear.Throughadonationfrommysister,Ihavepurchased130teddybearstobegiventochildreninhomelessshelters,domesticviolenceshelters,hospitals,orwhereyouwouldfindachildinneedofahuggablesoftlittleteddybear.Iwouldliketoseeeachofourcommunitiesprovidingteddybearstotheirlocalagenciestobringsmilestochildrenincrisis.Inthesecondyearwewillfocusonhandbagsfilledwithneedsforwomenincrisis.Moreonthislater.
However,sincecoronavirusinvadedourworld,Iwouldalsoliketoaddtomyspecialprojectrequest.SomanyworkersinWashingtonStatearebeinglaidoff,furloughedorfiredandareturningtolocalfoodbankstohelpfeedtheirfamilies.Iwouldlikeourmemberstodonateasmuchaswecanindividually,orasaclub,toourlocalfoodpantriesandfoodbanks.Weneedtohelpthosefamiliesuntilwereachsomedegreeofnormalcyandpeoplecangobacktoworkandgetbackontheirfeetagain.
Lastly,the2020-2022GFWC-WSadministrationmaylookverydifferentforthecomingfewmonths.Wemayneedtorelayondigitalconferencing,Zoommeetings,theClubwomanNewsletter,emails,textandtelephonetostayintouchandgetourworkaccomplished.Itismyhopethisisnotthecasebutweneedtobereadyforwhateverliesahead.Wewillkeepyouadvisedintheweeksaheadregardingupcomingmeetingsshouldtheyneedtobecancelled.
Inthemeantime,youwillbereceivingtheCalltoSummerPlanningandregistrationformwiththisnewsletter.WeareplanningforJuly25inLacey,Washington.Pleasereturnyourregistrationpromptlysowecanstartplanningandmakesurewehaveenoughofeverything.Ifthemeetingiscalledoffbecauseofthevirus,allregistrationmonieswillberefunded.

Whataninterestingtime.UsuallyIwouldbereportingonourGFWC-WSConvention;however,duetoCOVID19(Coronavirus)wewereunabletoholdourConventioninMosesLake.Idowanttothankeveryonewhowasworkingonthisspecialevent.OurGFWC-WSmembersdidvoteviaemail/phone/mailforour2020–2022GFWCOfficers.Congratulationstoall!Anyadditionalbusiness,includingawards,willbecompletedatGFWC-WSSummerPlanningortheFallBoard.Wewillbehavingafuntimetoo,for“It’saSmallWorld”atFallBoard,soremembertobringyourMickeyEars.
InthisnewsletterweareincludingthewinnersoftheGFWC-WSawards.Thankstoalltheclubsforyourvolunteerworkandtothechairpeopleforwritingreportsandprovidingthelistofawardwinners.For2019,ourstateshouldbeveryproudaboutour27clubs,with371members,1034programs/projects,39,675VolunteerHours,donationsof$140,469,and“in-kinddonationsof$138,116.21.TosupporttheSevenGrandInitiatives,weplanted13trees,workedon3projectsforWomenintheMilitary,anddonated671PairsofshoestoSoles4Souls.Wealsodonated383Dr.SeussBooks,andworkedon3projectsforMartinLutherKingDay.MemberssupportedmySpecialProject,RelayforLife,byparticipatinginwalks.Over190hoursand$1,556.50dollarsweregivenbyclubstotheirlocalRelays.

Ihavehadsomequestionsthisspringregardingmailandemailvoting,aswellaswhennewofficerstakeofficeandassumetheirduties.Thisisavastlydifferenttimeforallofus.Evenifyourclubordistricthasplannedandhavebylawsthatallowelectronicvoting,itishardtoimplementthoserulesifthatissuehasneverbeenused.Iamnotsurethemonthsaheadwillgetanyeasierwhenitcomestodoingbusiness.Iwouldsuggestweallgetusetousingourtechnologyandmakesureourparliamentarybasesarecovered.
Elections:Forthoseofyouwhohavevotingbymail,email,oranythingotherthanvotingatameeting(thismustbeinyourbylawsinordertouseeitherofthesemethods),yourmeetingminutesshouldshowthedatethevoteswerecounted,thenamesofthosecountingthevotes,howmanymembersvoted,andhowmanyvoteseachcandidatereceived.
AsnotedinarecentGFWC“News&Notes”,youneedtorecordanyillegalorinvalidballotsalso.YouthenstatethatthePresidentwasgiventheresultsandthatshedeclaredthefollowingtohavebeenelected,givingtheirnames.
Business:Ifyouareholdingclubmeetingviaconferencecallsorvisualsoftware,youshouldmakesureyouhaveaquorumofmemberspresentonthecall/visualmeeting.Theclubcannotconductofficialbusinesswithoutaquorum.Ifthereisamotionhavingtodowithclubbusinessbeingputbeforethemembership,youneedthenameofthemakerofthemotion,thefactthatitwasseconded(doesn’thurttoincludethenameofthesecondersinceyoucan’tnecessarilyseewhoitis)andthenumberofvotes,bothpositiveandnegative,thatwerereceived.Theseneedtobereflectedintheminutes.
Ifthisisaconferencecall,thepersonrespondingtothequestionshouldidentifythemselvesastheydiscussorvote,sothesecretarycanrecordthevotesandmakesureeachmembervoted.OnaZoommeeting,orsimilarsoftware,themembershouldmakesuretheyarerecognizedastheyvotesoitcanbeproperlyrecorded.
Justremember,notallourmemberscanattendavisualmeeting,andsomedonotuseemail.Manyofourclubswillbegoingto,orareusing,conferencecallsandvisualcallsfortheirmeetings.Thismayhavetobethecaseformonthstocome.Aphoneconferenceistheeasiest.Iwouldencourageeachclubtoasksomeonetohelpyougetonlinesoyoucanbeabletoconductmeetingswithyourclubmembers.(IfthisOldLadycandoit,anyofyoucan!!!)
Asfortakingofficeandassumingresponsibilities,membersareinofficeassoonastheyareelected.However,itisnotnecessaryfortheofficertobesworninorhaveaninstallationceremonyforhertobeginhernewjob.Mostclubs,districtandstatebylawshave,orshouldhave,astatementwhenthenewlyelectedofficerassumetheirpositions.WiththeabsenceofaStateConventionoraGFWCConvention,thenewofficerscantaketheirpositiononanagreedupondatewiththeoutgoingandincomingadministrations.ThisyeartheGFWCInstallationwouldhavetakenplaceonJune30th.Thatisagood“official”datetoassumethenewestadministration.However,newadministrationsneedtoinitiateplanningforthecomingtwoyearsandcanbeginconfirmingtheirplans,appointments,etc.assoonaselected.Theyneedtoberespectfuloftheoutgoingadministration,sotheycancompleteanyunfinishedactivitiesfromtheiradministration.
Justremember,followyourbylaws.Iftheydon’tgiveyoutheguidanceyouseekwithregardtothenewtechnologythatsurroundsus,itistimetolookatthebylawsandmakechangesasnecessary.I’mheretohelpifyouhavequestions.Staysafeandstayhealthy.

IwouldliketowishallmyfriendsinWashingtonStateaspecialgreetingduringthistimeofconfinement.IespeciallywantedtocongratulateLela,Dorothy,Susan,GingerandKimonbeingelectedasyour2020-2022officers.Also,IwanttocongratulatethosememberswhosaidtheywouldserveonLela’sboard.IknowallofyouwilldoyourverybesttomakeGFWCWashingtonStateshineandsucceed.Itiswonderfultohavetechnologysuchase-mail,zoom,facetime,etc.tohelpustobeabletocommunicatewitheachotherthroughthesetryingtimesandareabletostillstayconnectedwitheachother.
Irealizeitisnotthewayyou,asnewlyelectedofficers,sawyourselvesstartingthisnewadministration.Itcanbechallenging,butasthecommercialsonTVaresaying“Wewillgetthroughthistogether.”IbelievethiswillhelpstrengththemembersofGFWCWashingtonStateaswefindnewwaystocommunicatewitheachotherandstillfindwaystohelpimproveourcommunitiesinasafeenvironment.

GFWCMillionDollarClub–HelpUsReachtheGoal!OneoftheGFWC7GrandInitiativesasputforthbyGFWCPresident,MaryEllenBrock,wastheMillionDollarClub.Themembershipinthisexclusiveclubisattainedbymakinga$1,000donation,placingyourname,yourclub’snameorwhoeverisdesignatedasthedonor,inthepermanentbookatHeadquarters.Thisbookwillholdthedonor’snameasapartofhistoryoftheMillionDollarClubthatraised$250,000forthecontinuedupkeepandrestorationofourbeautifulbuilding.
Adonorisdefinedasanindividual,club,district,stateorregion.WeareattemptingtoplaceGFWC-WashingtonStateontheMillionDollarClubmembershiplist.
Somemayrememberwecollectedadonationatour2018FallBoardmeetingandraised$425towardputtingGFWC-WS’snameonthedonorlist.WENEEDYOURHELPNOWTOMAKEOURGOAL!Lookatyourclub’sbudgetandseeifyoumightgivea$50-100donation.Maybeyouhaveindividualmemberswhowishtohelpwithyourclubdonation.Thisdonationwillhelpthestatetoreachthe$1,000goal.Wewouldhonorthe2018-2020AdministrationandPresident,BettyMacMasterasournotationinthemembershipbook.

5thPlacetoMadisonKrogh,MosesLakeWoman’sClub.Shereceives$500.MadisonhasapassionforfamilyandcommunityconnecQon.ShegrewupparQcipaQnginavarietyofsportsandcompeQQvedance,andfoundittobearewardingwaytobuildcharacter,friendshipsandworkethic.NowMadisoniscoachingyoungstudentsinsoccer,sotheycandiscovertheselifeskillstoo.SheaCendsEasternWashingtonUniversity,workingonbecominganelementaryschoolteacher,andplanstoteachinasmallcommunitysomewhereincentralWashington.

Wearethrilledtobeabletoofferscholarshipstoallapplicantswhoapplied,duethegenerousdonationsmadetotheScholarshipFunds,andbecauseofveryfavorablemarketreturnsonthescholarshipinvestmentslastyear.Thankyouforyourcontributionstothefundsandcongratulationstoall!Theapplicantsneverceasetoamazeus,andallaresuretocontinuebeingleadersforalife-time.

PublishedApril26th,2020:Seemslikeeveryoneisbecomingavaccineexpertthesedays,especiallywhenitcomestodevelopingavaccineforCOVID-19.AsdireastheneedisforaCOVIDvaccine,weshouldn’tlosesightofvaccinesthatarereadilyavailable.Imaginefightingthisbattleontwofronts–COVIDandmeasles–andnowimaginethatyou’reinadevelopingnationinAfricaorSoutheastAsiaandthatbattlecouldbecomealltooreal.VaccinationswhicharefundedinpartbytheU.S.saveabout2.5millionchildrenayear,andthepartnershipsforgedwithUNICEF,WHO,theCDCandGAVITheVaccineAlliancearecrucialinpreventingbreakoutsofdiseaseslikemeaslesandpolio.Moreimportantly,theworktheseorganizationshavedoneinpioneeringnewvaccineswillbecriticaltocreateanddeliveraCOVIDvaccine.
Thetotalbudgetforprogramstoeliminatemeasles,eradicatepolioandfundGAVIis$711million–consideringwe’vespentover$2trilliontocombatCOVID-19,that’sasteal.IhopethateachofuswillreachouttoourMembersofCongressandaskthemtofullyfundglobalvaccineactivities.Ittrulyneverhasbeenmoreimportanttoensurethehealthoffamilieseverywhere.

NationalMomentofRemembrance–at3PMlocaltimeonMemorialDay.TheMemorialDayFoundationasksfor60secondsofsilencetorememberU.S.servicemembers,pastandpresent,andtheirsacrificesforourcountry.3PMwasselectedasitrepresentsthetimewhenmostAmericanswouldbeenjoyingtheirfreedomwithaMemorialDayBBQ…onamuchsmallerscale,ifany,ofcourse,thisyear.
Ifdisplayingtheflag,itisappropriatetodisplayitathalfstaffuntilnoon.
We pause to remember those who died With so much courage, so much pride.

Weareonceagainattheendandthebeginningofanadministration.Afterseeingthelowmembernumbersinthestatewemustgetbusytoraisethesenumbers.Thinkoutoftheboxtointerestnewmemberstocomeintotheclub.Invite,butafterhavingthesewomenasguests,thenaskforduesandwelcomethem.
Befriendlyandletthemknowhowwelcometheyareandthatyouaresohappytohavethemjointhisfabulousorganization.Letthemknowwhatourpastisfilledwith:seatbelts;whitelinesintheroadstoseparatethelanes;75%ofthelibrariesthroughoutthestates;women’srightsforhigherwagesincomparisontomen;women’ssuffragemovementtoallowustovote;collectedandpaidforsuppliesontheRedCrossHospitalship;workedalongsidewithotherwomenbuildingbombersforthewar;millionsofpackagessenttooursoldiersfreeingusfromharm.Thisisaverysmallamountoftheaccomplishmentsofourmembers,clubs,andefforts.
Weareastronggroupofwomenalwaystheretovolunteerforourcommunitiesinanywayneeded.Thereisnothingwecan’taccomplish.
Therearemanyladiesinyourcommunitiesthatwouldbeinterestedinjoiningourefforts.Please,Please,findthemandofferthemthesameopportunitieswehavesoenjoyedoverthebeginningoftheGFWC.Advertisefornewmembers.Publicizeyouractivities.Setupanactivityboardwithallyourcharitablegiving.Brochuresmaybehandedoutwithcontactphonenumber.

The7GrandInitiatives:Almost400(392)pairsofshoesweredonatedtotheSoles4SoulsProject.NinemembersjoinedtheLegislativeActionCenter.TherewerethreeveryimpressiveprojectscommemoratingWomenintheMilitary.NinetreeswereaddedtoourlocalenvironmentonArborDay,thankstoourclubwomen.OverfortyDr.Seussbooksweredonatedtochildreninourdistrictandstatewide.
MonetarydonationsweresenttoSt.Jude'sChildrensResearchHospital,MarchofDimes,HOBY,HeiferInternational,OperationSmile,Shot@Life,andtotheUSFundforUNICEF.
Thisgroupofhard-workingwomenwerealsobigonfundraising!GFWCColumbiaDistrictClubsreportedfundraisingatotalof$26,736.00in2019,withanother$1348.00inin-kinddonations.Volunteerismatitsbest!Thisishowwemakeadifferenceinourcommunities.

Coronavirusputsclubactivitiesonhold,butdoesn’tstop‘emMembersofGFWC-BattleGroundarekeepingintouchwitheachotherthroughemails,phonecallsandtextsduringthepandemicstay-at-homesituation.Theyshareneeds,offers,jokes,goodwishesandcheckuponeachother’swelfare.
On4/20/2020fourmembersdonnedtheirmasksandpracticedsocialdistancingwhiletheyplantedtheclub’sdelayedPinwheelGarden.Bringingawarenesstochildabuseistimelybecauseitshowssignsofescalatingduringthepandemicwhenchildrenareseenlessbyeducatorsandmedicalstaffs,theprincipalreportersofabuse.

TheCityofWashougalhasaprogram,RefuelWashougal.ItisamirroroftheprogramMealsonWheels.EveryFridayeveningadifferentorganizationvolunteerstoprepareandserveamealfrom4:00-6:00p.m.attheWashougalCommunityCenter.ThispastFridayeveningGFWCCamas-Washougalpracticedoursocialdistancingwhileproviding50mealsforthoseinneed.RefuelWashougalprovidesthefundsforthemeal,theyareinneedofvolunteerstoprepareandservethemeal.Providinganopportunityforustoserveourcommunity,especiallynowthatweareunabletofundraise.
Thequandaryisthatnooneknowsforsurehowmanyyouwillbeserving.Thepreviousweektheyplannedfor60andhadwaytoomuch.Weplannedfor40andranout.Wescrambledandprovidedpeanutbutterandjellysandwiches’ratherthandelisandwiches.DuetotheCOVID-19pandemicthekitcheninourCommunityCenterhasbeenclosedandweareonlyallowedtoprepareroomtemperatureorcolditems.GFWCC-Wprovideddelisandwiches,assortedchips,freshfruit,cookiesandwater.Asyoucanseebytheattachedphoto,PatSuggs,JeanetteJesterandmyself(SusanBennett)practicedoursocialdistancingwhilehavingagreattime.AnnStevens,Co-chairofRefuelWashougaltooktothefrontlineandgreetedthosewhopicked-up.HopefullyourGFWCfamilywillbestrong.Personally,wehavefamilyandfriendsthathavebeenincontactwithsomeonethathastestedpositiveandhavehadtoselfquarantine.Forthemtheyhavenotshownanysymptoms.

Paraprosdokians - - - a little humor, submitted by Carol StylesThe first time I heard about paraprosdokians, I liked them. Paraprosdokians are figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected and is frequently humorous. (Winston Churchill loved them.) 1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it. 2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you.... but it's still on my list. 3. Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak. 4. If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong. 5. We never really grow up.... we only learn how to act in public. 6. War does not determine who is right, only who is left. 7. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. 8. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research. 9. I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you. 10. In filling out an application, where it says, "In case of emergency, notify..." I answered, "a doctor." 11. •MembershandleregistrationfortheALSBikeRideandhelpwithregistrationattwooftheWalks.• ChristmasGiftsaredonatedfortheFosterChildrenthroughTreehouse.•MemberscontinuetosupportWonderlandChildandFamilyServicesbyvolunteeringattheirfund-raisingevents.
• SchoolSuppliesweredonatedtoaschoolthat50%ofthechildrenareunderthepovertylevel.• TheclubsupportsDomesticViolencebydonatingtotheDVluncheon.•WreathsAcrossAmericahasbeenaprojectoftheclubforthepastthreeyears.Wreathsaresoldandthemembersattendtheprogramandhelpdistributethewreathstothegravesofthemilitarymembersatalocalcemetery.

NorthCentralDistrictmembershavebeendedicatedinmakingadifferenceforotherssince1920.AtthistimeNorthCentralDistricthasmembersfromfourclubs(thisincludesonefromtheAppleBlossomClub).The199thSemi-AnnualFallConferencewasheldinWatervilleandhostedbytheWatervilleladies.Atthattime,PresidentMargaretgaveanoverviewoftheGFWC-WSFallBoardandsharedinformationontheGFWC-WSConvention.
The200thDistrictConferencewasscheduledtobeheldinMosesLakeonMarch28th,butbecauseoftheCoronavirus,itwasinsteadheldbymail.
TheNorthCentralDistrictGavelClubwasorganizedinFebruaryof1967.Atthistime,GavelClubmember,LoriLudemanisthelastremainingchartermember.TheprincipleprojectistheadministrationoftheHelenKinzelScholarshipfunds.HelenKinzelwasaschoolteacherandadministrator,clubwoman,andcommunityleaderinEntiat,WA.FundsforthescholarshipshavecomefromdistrictclubsandmembersdonationsandfromtheinvestmentswilledtotheclubfromMr.Kinzelin1984.Thescholarshiprecipientsarestudentspursuingclassroominstructioncareers.
TheGFWC-MosesLakeWoman’sClubwasformedin1914andfederatedin1915.ItistheoldestorganizationinMosesLakeandwasoriginallycalledtheNeppelFederatedWomen’sClub.DuringPresidentBetty’sadministrationtheMosesLakeladiescontinuedinmakingadifferenceinourcommunityandinternationally.MembersapprovedtosupportPresidentBetty’sspecialproject-RelayforLife-anddonatedtotheGFWCCapitalCampaignMillionDollarClub.
WatervillePhilomathicClub,organinzedin1902,makingittheoldestclubinourdistrict.Itwasfederatedin1924.Thisclubhascontinuedtosupportthecommunityalltheseyears.SomeprojectsincludetheGFWCScholarshipProgram,volunteeringatthelocalfoodbank,andsavingaluminumtabsandusedpostagestampswhicharedonatedtoRonaldMcDonaldHouseandsupportcancerresearch.

Unfortunately,likealltheothersinourstate,wehadtocancelourSpringConference.Wehadthebusiestdayplannedandhopefullythenextadministrationwillbeabletoreschedulethespeakersandactivitiesforfutureconferences.
Inourthreeconferences,wewereabletodosomegreatthingsforthecommunitieswherethoseconferenceswerehosted.UnderweardonationsfortheTacomaclub;diapersfortheKitsapPeninsulaladies;andsocksforthewomenofOlympia.Doingsmallthingsindividuallymadeforagreatgiveoflove,theentirebasisofmy2-yeartheme.Itakethisasasuccess!Wewereallpreparedfora4thcollectivedonationwhichwillbeontheagendaagain,I’msure!
Wecollectedmanypennies,nickles,anddimesandgiftedourOrcaBradyBuggytotheMaryBridgeChildrensHospitalinTacoma,thecenterofourDistrict.Wewerenotabletoscheduleourphotoopportunityduetothe“ShelterinPlace”orderssothatisalsobeingtabledforafuturedate.Inadditiontoourwagon,wedonated100goodiebagsforusebypatientsorsiblingstohelpwithwaitingroomandappointmentanxiety.Asecondsetof100bagsisreadyfordeliverywhenitsallowed.

GFWCTacomahasfivememberswithapotentialsixth.Keepingourlittlebandofvolunteersinformedhasbeenthegoalofthispresident.InMarchwewerelookingforwardtoplantingPinwheelsforPreventionofChildAbuse.UnfortunatelyCovid-19putastoptothat.InAprilanemailwassenttoeveryoneregardingEarthDaywithlinkstoavideoabouthowthevirushasbeenchangingtheatmosphericconditionsaroundtheworld.ThatwasfollowedbyforwardingtheGFWCemailaboutFederationDayactivitiesandencouragingmemberstocontacttheirsenatorsandrepresentativeaboutMiranda’sLawand3DGunprinting.AlinktotheGFWCmembershipvideositewasalsoincluded.Memberswereaskedtoreportbackthattheyhadviewedthesitesorparticipated.MarthaCurwenPresident

GFWCChambersBayWomansClubLikemost,wearenotphysicallymeeting.Mostofourcommunication/businesshasbeendonebyphone,textsandemails.Mosteverythinghasbeencancelled,postponedorrescheduled!Forfun,ladieshavereported(evenwithphotos)oftheirwalksalongthewaterfront,throughtheirneighborhoods,inlocalparks,andevenacrosstheNarrowsBridge.Conversationastohowyoucleanyourfloors,handsandkneestoswiftertosteammachinetotheregularsweepandmop!Powerwash,cleanandsort.Findinginterestingitems.
Clubhasbeeninvolvedinmakingmasksforselfandhospital.AlsomakingpillowcasesforChildren’sHospital.Somedonotsewbuthelpoutwithsuppliesandalotofsupport.Votesviaemailondonatingmoneytohelpoutclients.NewDVclients.
Mostimportantareouradditionstotheclubfamily!Sally’sfraternaltwinsontheEastCoastaredoinggreat.Shejustmissesgoingtoseethem.Beth’sboys,EthanandDavisarealmost10monthsold,crawlingandgettingintocupboards.Connie’sgirls,IslaandLucyare5months.Wemissnotphysicallyseeingthemthoughtheyareclose.Terry’snewestgranddaughterisalso10monthsold(samedayasBeth’sboys).AndtheBIGGESTnews/additionsareJodi’sgranddaughters,AvaandEllieborn3/30inVegas.JodiandMikewerethereforthebirthandstayedamonthtohelpout.Thetwinsjoinasibling,a2yearold!Ifyouwerecounting…thatmakes4setsoftwins,3setswhichareunderayear+1bonus.
