From the Editor Candice
Happy Monday! Okay I have been
receiving all sorts of email in regards to how I can help students and organizations commu-nicate with each other.
My job as Secretary of your SBA is to make sure that y’all know what is going on with your school. This means if you are the head of a club and you have a meeting or an announcement that you would like the stu-dents to know about email me.
However, there are two different ways to publish information. If you would like an ad in the grapevine you can email me at [email protected].
If you would like to post an announcement on the SBA blog so that all those who are sub-scribed will receive an email then contact me at [email protected].
I took on this posi-tion because I felt over-whelmed last year with keeping track of all of the opportunities and activities that our school provides. I kept feeling that come 12:00 I was sure there was a meeting that I had to attend or there was something I wanted to hear about. But I could not always find a room
number or information quickly enough.
Some days there are simply more events going on than you can attend but I would like to make sure that all students know about what is going on cam-pus.
In addition to mak-ing sure that y’all are kept abreast of student activities I would like to make the Grapevine more interactive. I would appreciate any comments or ideas on features or sections that we could put in the grapevine to extend the publication from an advertising booklet.
I am open to sug-gestions.
Lastly, I would like to take the time to thank all of the Board of Governors for com-ing out on Saturday and approving the club budgets. Especially great job done by our Treasurer Justin Bates and President Dan Schaar!
I hope everyone has a great week.
Take Care,
Candice B. Macario
