TRIMESTER ENDS
Our second trimester of the school year ends this Friday, March 13.
Gradelink will be temporarily unavailable after this date until report cards are printed. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, March 20.
TERRA NOVA TESTING COMING SOON
Terra Nova will begin on Thursday, March 19, with In-View tests for all students in Grades 3-7.
Subject areas will be tested for Grades 3-7 Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27.
Please avoid scheduling morning appointments for students in these grades during these dates as they cannot begin timed tests late. Thank you.
SCHOOL NEWS
CONGRATULATIONS TO ODYSSEY OF THE MIND!
Congratulations to all of our Odyssey of the Mind teams that competed at the South East PA Odyssey of the Mind tournament on Saturday, February 29. It was an outstanding day for MMR! Mr. Bull’s team placed 3rd in their division. Mr. Viereck’s team placed second in their division. Mrs. Casadei and Mrs. McDougal’s Teams placed first in their Division. Our first and second place teams will move on to the State Competition in April at Lock Haven University. Good Luck to our teams!

HSA BOARD OPEN POSITIONS
Hello Parents. It’s the time of the year again
when we are looking for a few people to join the
HSA Board. We need your help and dedication
to make the next school year a great success for
our kids and our families.
Positions available for school year 2020-2021:
Social Chair = This person will create
committees that will plan and execute
events. (2 year term)
VP = The Vice President works with the board
making decisions and executing board events as
well as helping the President. The VP will
serve the second year as the President (2 year
term)
Communication = The communication chair will
be in charge of all communication between
parents and board. This person should be
familiar with Google applications. (2 year term)

SEEKING SHOEBOXES
Kindergarten is seeking empty shoeboxes with
lids for a terrific Innovation Lab project. They
need as many as they can get! Please send
them to school to the attention of Mrs. Kincade
or Mrs. Ruppert. Thank you.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Students will be attending Stations of the Cross.
We hope you will join us on this part of our
Lenten journey:
Monday, March 9 - 2pm, K – Grade 3
Monday, March 16 - 2pm, Grades 4 – 8
Monday, March 30 - 2pm, K – Grade 3
Monday, April 6 1:30pm - All Grades will attend
our annual Living Stations of the Cross as
presented by the entire Seventh Grade.
PLEASE SUPPORT MMR’S THEATRE ARTS CLUB
The Theatre Arts Club is joining the effort to
help our environment by offering the sale of
metal reusable straws. The single straw comes
in a pouch with a straw cleaner and removable
rubber tip. Proceeds from the sale will help with
the spring production of Disney’s The Little
Mermaid. Please see the flyer at the end of the
newsletter for more information and order form.

A special thank you to the Lansdale Catholic students who volunteered to read to our younger students this week and celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
READING OLYMPICS
Congratulations to the all the Gr. 5-8 students
who participated in the Reading Olympics this
year. Each of our teams enjoyed terrific results
and were awarded red or blue ribbons for their
efforts. Way to go, Readers!
